Can't Progress Past Character Selection Since VIL (Failure to Load)

Aside from a couple of marginally successful logins after Victory is Life launched I've not been able to get into the game proper. My client includes the latest patch (06/07/2018) and all local files have been verified.

I can get to the character login screen, but once a character is selected and the game starts loading into the initial map loading progress makes it to about 90-95% or so then the game crashes to desktop and the error reporting scrambles to compile data (sometimes successfully, sometimes not).

I don't know if this is a network issue or not, but I've got details here:

Any help would be super but, again, I'm not sure this is a connection issue rather than something else (I've also reduced my graphics settings to minimum in case that was getting in the way but that doesn't seem to have impacted anything). Not really in much of a position to say, though, really.
