If you have been on tribble testing the new faction, soon one could realize the lack of diversity in regards to making female characters for the new faction.
Is this really a fictional future of the 23rd century? Fine some aliens do not need females but at least it would have been more sensitive to add some Vortas (fem/males) into the design. Can you imagine FEDs with no females or KDF with no Orion girls?
Just my opinion, but the new faction looks very boring since all looks grey and not so much difference among Jems except for a diminutive change in hairstyle or uniform.
This is not a criticism of the whole ViL but just on the new faction character creation and inclusiveness of female options for new that faction.
As a woman, I sometimes see me as my character's extension of myself. I do have some male characters but overall prefer to make females.
You said Cardassians? Well they can only be aligned to FED/KDF not the new faction as per tribble and even with that not the same as a Vorta IMO.
Vortas should have been brought to balance the new faction and not including them just because they are not "tough" enough to compete in the story planned not cool.
I'm still hoping they would be more inclusive some day and really add more female options to the new faction by adding Vortas later on or even making Cardassians join the new faction.
In the meantime, I will take my male Jem'Hadar to Risa and pretend he is a female and try to slot a Bikini on him.

Also Jem'Hadar can only be aligned to FED and KDF themselves, so what's the point of "aligning" a Cardassian to the Dominion?
Point being you can't start the faction tutorial or basically most of what was created in the storyline for Jem'Hadar in ViL...not that it matters.

I do agree their should be more diversity more races and all that.
Yes there was one was created wait a minute I realized it was created in 2405. So it would not be in the shows my bad I'm sorry. But heres the link to it anyways. Because they still could use it and use that as an explanation

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch."
"We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Gamma doesn't list sources, is there a non-fanfic source for this?
MY feelings on this topic has already been stated in a different thread:

NOTE: Devs mentioned adding Vortas and Changelings to the Dominion faction during one of the Dev Live Stream Videos back on May 24th (or so). It is on the "Things They Want To Do" list.
Which means, we have to wait to make Female Captains in the new Faction. And we may be waiting a while...seeing all the bug reports cropping up on Tribble.
I do not know how to make it more clear to them, than to keep repeating it:
Women should be able to make a strong female captains in all the Factions. THAT LOOKS LIKE A WOMAN!!! And be as capable as any other, if we so choose to. So, ADD something that will allow us to do this.
Dominion, and I am sure even Gamma Quad, already HAS races that reflect both masculine and feminine features. Vorta is already in the Tailor under Alien Gen....we can make Vorta captains in KDF, ROM and FED Factions.
No sense in blocking it from the Dominion Faction. The Faction that should have access to it!!
Would it be nice to have costumes and new hair? Yes it would. But I get the time crunch.
Quit amputating an entire arm (Females in the faction), when a band aid on the finger will do (Alien Gen).

Actually this is totally wrong...there were many females in the canon Dominion faction..."Vortas". Also, there were many cardassian females in Ds9. I think watching reruns on Netflix might help with that?

Please properly familiarize yourself with the source material. Not just grab google images. I dont really want to have to over explain that the dominion faction only allows jem'hadar captains......... ..... .... so that really explains itself maybe i should have said jem'hadar faction to lessen the confusion. As for cardassians, if you watched the show in its entirety you would see why there are none within the dominion... you know betraying the founders and all... being a non engineered race of solids in which the founders havent trusted in its 2000 of existence, why would they be allowed back in? the dominion is a caste system each race has the specific role they were designed for. Vorta were not engineered to be soldiers only liasons between the founders and jem'hadar they were designed with poor eyesight amongst other flaws which help keep them where they belong. the jem'hadar were cloned to fight and die, addicted to drugs which they will die without. why would the dominion put any race in a position they werent designed for? It doesnt matter what odo has done he has only been there for what 25 years? the dominion has billions of individuals spanning god knows how many light years and has existed for over 2000 years, 70,000 light years away . the devs stated that if they could remove the "male" option from the creator they would but it would break too much to bother. i noticed you left that out when you brought up them mentioning the vorta and founders. also if youve played the first mission on tribble youd see why vorta wouldnt make sense as a playable race even if you arent familar with the structure of the dominion.
CLONES the race was CREATED by the founders.
The jem'hadar a genetically engineered soldiers there is no sex involved in their production. The only soldiers the dominion uses. Why would they employ other races deemed inferior? especially since a jem'hadar is ready to fight within a few days of being born. this is why being familiar with source material is important. please read my response to the bubblgirl for a more indepth answer
Can anyone point to a non-fanfic source that says the species (vs. human actors) has any genitalia at all? If not, it's not an "all male" race at all, it's a sexless race. You're then free to think of your Jem'Hadar captain as female, since that's exactly as (not) correct as thinking of them as male.

I agree that they should add Vorta and even Cardassians to the Dominion as an option.
The Jem'Hadar aren't actually clones. While they're genetically engineered and bred through artificial means, each one is a unique being. The original idea of them being identical clones never made it into the show, only the Vorta got that treatment.
A memo by Robert Wolfe also claims that the Jem'Hadar weren't created by the founders, either.
