C-Store Temporary Restriction items bound to account!

Yesterday I bought some Zen in order to get some keys (was going to try my luck on the Disco lock box) today I decided to to get a little more Zen for some keys but I found out my account has a temporary restriction where all items my keys unlock from the crate will be permanently bound to my account. I know the restriction is temporary I was just wondering an ETA on when it will be lifted. BTW I used Steam to get the Zen (according to my research this is a bad thing to do).

15 days that a long time! All I did was give them money.

I contacted support and they told me their was nothing they could do. All they did was open up a ticket.

The reason why using Steam to buy Zen is bad is because Steam has a 14 day refund policy. That is why the probation period is 15 day. The probation period is there to prevent fraud and credit card charge backs.

Without the probation period people could simply use Steam to buy Zen, then turn around to request a refund. They would get their money back, but they would also still have the "purchased" Zen. Cryptic would be on the losing end of the deal, not only would they get loose money from the refund, they also got defrauded of the Zen.

In the future, I recommend you purchase Zen directly from the Arc website. Cryptic also ends up with more money because Steam take a flat 30% cut of every purchase made through Steam.
