STO Launcher updating at a snail's pace

This week, I've noticed that not only does the game have to do lots of relatively small patches when I start it up, but that those patches take forever to finish. I'm sitting here watching it update right now, and it's updating very slowly, about 0.1 MB per second. Updates like this used to fly by in a couple of minutes. Another problem I've been having is the updates to ARC itself. I tried to update it, and then it closed for a long time. I couldn't get it to open again, so I restarted my computer. When I started ARC, it gives me an error message saying there's no disk in my disk drive. It's never said that before, and it has never had anything to do with a disk being in the drive. It seems to work fine, still starts up the game and everything, but that error message comes up constantly until I close ARC completely. Anyone else having similar problems trying to update either ARC or STO?

Yeah, it's hosed. I can't login at all since the patch.

I'm going to go play some Anno 2070 and try STO again in a couple hours.

Or maybe HL 2 with the Cinematic Mod, oh Alyx you naughty naughty girl...
