When i created my 1st federation engineer (i am a romulan player 99%), i gave him the rezreth breen dreadnought. So i said: "let's go all breen set".
I tried it...and not a strong set at all.
When i switched to iconian and terran set...much much better!
About the warp core, well...we may get it to complete the set...but there are far better things out there, even for free (the tzenkethi core from preeminent set for example).
which is funny cause I have a tradition of running the delta stuff in a breen carrier with both breen sets and to this day I have no idea what all the noise about the stuff being too hard or taking too long was about.
Some people's favorite builds... have weaknesses the devs ruthlessly exploited when designing the Vaadwaur enemies
which why I plan on never letting go of my terrible builds, sure I keep a "good" ship on hand for the rare times I queue for something. but otherwise it's whatever random idea I have... which works oddly well I got though season 13 only needing to change one ship's build and that was one of the "good" ones.
if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

It's funny you should mention the Tzenkethi core, as I've never been impressed with its shield capacitor, and replaced it on several builds with the Obelisk core I definitely agree about the Sol Defense set: That is a great set My 'fun build' Miranda uses parts from the Sol and Solanae sets (with the Breen core) and is sufficient for my needs My Orion Corsair build (which I originally wanted it for) the boost to the weapons was much more beneficial than boosts to the shields, and it works well for me

I voted yes. I like having my characters fielding equipment with particular themes. The set bonuses aren't as terrible as some people think, and the Eject Cryoplasma is nice when you have the immobilize doff, and you want to lock something in place to keep it from wandering around. It comes w/ a 100% EPS on it as well. It doesn't come w/ AMP, so you miss out on just over 13% damage when you have all systems at above 75. Not something for those chasing the deeps charts, or the meta sheep, but it's a fun core. And it's not like it's super costly or difficult to get.
Agree with others. It's not a bad set, especially if you're RPing flying a Breen ship and using the Breen set. I do that with any Breen ship I have and fly. You get the other parts for free by playing the Breen Invasion arc and the core just costs some trinkets, so why not?
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.

Well, specific examples include, park and shoot DHC builds. Voth reflective shields make their lives hell.
Then there's how a lot of people think it's a good idea to set their ship base power levels to maximize weapon power. Yeah, they tend to get murdalized by enemies that use power drain effects.
I'm using it on my Kolasi with the rest of the set for now, it'll find a home on the event ship in 14 days time. The core and the rest of the set I can't see myself using regularly though. It's just eclipsed by nearly everything else you can get. Once my resources have grown more I may even epic it. The effects are quite nice too.
I think I'll have to go get the Breen Set all over again once I get done grinding for the Raider. I wanna see what my KDF SciGuy can do with the Raider set up as a Drain Build. He's pretty damned good with his Protonic Kool-Aid all-turret FT5-U Kamarag, but I think he can accomplish more in a T6 with Universal seats available. Space Majiks FTW!

Oh of course, it has universal seats! My Rommie scientist can make use of the ship too.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!
