I'm going to wait before I fully form my opinion on this 'extra console' garbage.
Someone else had a good point in another thread, we still don't know the full stats for the Miracle Worker ships. Most of the time, Cryptic puts something in place to balance ships.. they have an opposing drawback and we don't know yet what, if anything, Miracle Worker ships will have. For all we know, they'll have an extra console but extremely limited BoFF seating, or something else that balances it out. Maybe they only have 6 weapon hard points.. who knows?
So far, we have heard that they will have extra power levels and an extra console.. but will there be any negatives? So far the only ships that have received only boosts are lobi ships.
I'll assume that the OP's 'suggestions' are in jest because really.. they have to be.

I already posted this in another thread, so this version will be brief:
This is nothing new. We had intel ships, command ships, temporal ships and pilot ships.
They all have abilities that no other regular T6 ship has.
It just so happens that the gimmick with these new ones is the console slot + power + innovation mechanic. Is that always better than any of the above? That's debatable. Is it better than a regular T6? Yes it is, just like any of the above.
Also to be clear, when I mean intel ship, command ship, etc.. I'm not talking about T6s with spec seating, I'm talking about the highly specialized mega bundle ships like the pilot escorts/raptors/warbirds, command battlecruisers and so on.
I agree with seriousxeno....basically it's a slower, thicker version of the command battlecruiser that exchanges command powers and a hangar bay for a little extra subsystem power, the random benefit mechanic and a universal console slot. A long suffering romulan D'deridex pilot might find the extra manuverability and subsystem power enough to make a switch, but other then that faw trait....don't see the grand appeal.
I suppose feds can finally have cruiser type ship with 5 tac consoles...that's something
On a side note, only the Rom tac, two of the klingons, and none of the feds are remotely appealing visually imo.
I love the T6 Morrigu for my Romulan's which I think is very sharp. For Klingon's I like the look of the Kurak Battlecruiser as it's Black Color and Yellow Drives looks stunning; but the SCI Command Battlecruiser I think is the sharpest in the game. It also has (Type 4) material with Black color and Yellow Drives and is visually stunning in my opinion.
While I agreed with seriousxeno in another thread where he said it's just an extension to the Command, Intel, or Temporal abilities many other ships have.
I suspect many would agree fully with the Innovation Mechanic even the +10 Power System Buff; I think where many struggle is the fact they include a 12th console slot. All TAC consoles all boost skills by (%) far greater than most ENG/SCI do by simply enhancing the base skill - it results in a far larger effectiveness % gain over a base skill boost.
It's why I think many would like to see a Console Upgrade be extended to the CSTORE for all Ships (Tier 5U/6) even if there not a universal console but would be based on the Ship Type and limited to 1 ENG/SCI/TAC console.
Were those ships challenged "To the life." and lost? Who would fly those?... I don't care what their slots are, what their gimmick is, I wouldn't touch those ships for anything. No amount of gold-pressed latinum could make them appealing in the slightest. This is not a case of a 'Spruce Goose', this is more 'Caspian Sea Monster'...

Well the OP is only half in Jest - I mean - if you are going to do the "Full Monty" - which I expect Cryptic to do - you go the full Monty or go home. I would actually pay real dollars on this game again to buy MOOR power. Why not? it's not like we need any balance for pvp in this game anymore - that is a dead horse - just bury it.
p.s. look up full Monty if you don't get it. I know it's back to 1997 but it's still a decent movie.

"Let them eat static!"
The T5 Tal'shiar Adapted Destroyer has 3 device slots. The T6 TSAD has 2. Where is my extra device slot?
