I didn't enjoy this anywhere near as much as I did Sompek. The concept isn't bad, but the execution has some issues. Points for making timed and untimed versions of the queue; this alleviates much of the friction between people who want to get their tokens quickly and those who want to give it their best shot.

The Maru moves. What the fork? They've lost all power, yet they're gallantly flying out of heal AoEs and into incoming enemy swarms. More like lost all power of reason. The fact that the supposedly disabled ship moves around like a drunken lemming both works against the scenario's premise and feels like a extra hurdle thrown in just because.

Acceleration. What is this supposed to be? Makes no sense in the scenario and is very irritating. CC without a counter is the worst kind of dev cheese. This petty trolling was what wrecked the few good PUGs I found myself in during the event. Every single time. I was not amused.

There's just too much annoyance at once for this to be fun. Make the Maru hold still like it should and cut the "tee hee, full thrusters for everyone, all the time" pancake - it'll be much more PUGable.

yeah there was a lot of potential here for different strategies and situations. however, to use this potential it requires you to survive a long time like we did with the ground scenario. Before the patch the pugs would survive around 8 rounds. After the patch on Friday it was between 1 and 4 - usually 4. That's not enough time to explore the possibilities and really get into it.

I don't mind so much that the ship moves but it should survive better. The scenario was tuned to a well organized premade. This is not the bread and butter of who played this. So most just got their tokens and waved goodbye to what could have been a very interesting mission. I suggest tuning it so the average pug can do between 10-15 rounds for the timed version then you can leave the untimed version as it is.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."

"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

I did not get my last Weekend Voucher.

There is a lot of potential for growth for this event. The number of enemy ships and their speed heavily favored wide arc weapons (beams and 180 degree cannons) and AOE attacks. I rarely could use torpedoes (I only use torpedoes) as I tracked the Maru and tried to engage a lone ship here or there (the Borg were the only exception). My weapons were pretty useless and I wished that the weapons ports could supplement and enhance my Sci magic. I only played the event more than once a day on the first two days as I grew frustrated with the limited design.

I appreciated how powers like Scramble Sensors and healing were valuable but I wished that Viral Matrix and Mask Enemy Signature was of some use.

I did not enjoy this event as much as Sompek. For starters Sompek spawned less npcs so both AOE and single target attacks were viable.

I have been trying to use vouchers since 3rd day of event. I have 3 vouchers. Can not open/find store by clicking voucher, nor under reputation. Any help or clues?

It's an event rep project. But if you didn't start the project already you might as well toss the vouchers into your bank to collect dust.

I have 4 extras ( started off with two from Kempek's ). Next times one of these types of Events run I won't even need to do it if I don't want to. :p

Unless Cryptic decides that is not their intent with these type of events, they want players to participate, & they make each event have their own specific voucher for that event only.

It says specifically on the Voucher that it is good for any Weekend Event.
