Severe Lag Time Logging In

in Xbox One Gameplay Bug Reports
Is anyone having this issue of logging in and switching characters and it gives you a time out login message and takes for ever to even load the maps?

    yep, about 8/10 times i timeout while logging in. stupid thing is this NEVER use to happen until the last update which was suppose to fix a login issue which happened if you logged out while on risa that some people were having.

    Please look into this. Never had an issue till the last update, now I'm at 8/10 timeouts as well. Trying to run 9 characters is VERY frustrating...

    You get monents where it is OK, and then suddenly takes 5 mins to log in.

    It sometimes takes ages for characters to load. It is always best until the option to delete or rename is highlighted and not greyed out before begin playing.

    Sometimes it seems all is Ok and just as it all seems to complete get timout connecting connecting to game server.

    Same here. U.S., Comcast isp, Xbox one.
    All the players I regularly play with are encounering it as well, all starting with last weeks update.

    Tip for players trying to log in/switch characters;
    If when you get to the character select screen, the image on the right of your ship and officers does NOT load, do not attempt to log in to character. Instead, return to the title screen and try again.

    having the same problems get logged out transitioning in missions or going to fleet holdings then when trying to change characters i get redirected then logged out/unable to make connection then have to reload and go strait in..

    i am in the UK i have buisness class internet 1GB connection speed up and down and since the update/patch on tuesday 13th i had this problem, i think its to do with the fix they implemented for characters on risa.. it made the dilithium weekend pointless.

    i have friends who are lifetime subscribers and they are now refusing to purchase anything else in game because of this bug can this be fixed before the bonus mark weekend ?.
    i would like to be able to change characters without having to completly log out close the game and restart.

    US, Comcast, Isp Xbox One also PS4. Spent Last Hour Gave Up.

    Just wanted to add to this thread and I've now removed this game from my Xbox. Keep receiving the "Timeout during login" message, and the furthest I have got is into Character Creation, and have tried multiple times. If it helps, I'm from the UK.
