Well, seeing how the patch notes says they are adding stuff to them, I would think so.

Well, seeing how the patch notes says they are adding stuff to them, I would say that's an indication of... nothing conclusive.

They added the Elachi Subspace Rift Kit Module, which is a Mission Reward from 'What's Left Behind'. They had that during the first iteration of the Phoenix Prize Pack Event and removed it a few days in because it is a MISSION Reward.

Wow, Tribbles as a T5 reward? That seems pricey, even if it gives you 5 marks per hour when you pet it. Or am I counting the tiers wrong? T1=white/common ... T6=gold/epic?

They still haven't added the Mirror Universe Agony Field Rifle or the ISS Stadi.

This Vic the Angus sounds tasty. :)

Correction to the Mission it was 'What's Left Behind' not 'Uneasy Allies'

I think that, in this case, the higher the tier is, the lower the rarity. I don't know why they use internal terms in patch notes like this, as it just leads to confusion.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

Seems I was right. :( So much for the alleged economy gurus and their lame divinations.

If I read the detail in game correctly, the Mirror Event runs until tomorrow (June 9th), so maybe the Phoenix 'event' will kick-in after that ends?

You know, that has the ring of 'distinct possibility' to it. :)

I hope it comes out soon, I have over a mil of dilith to spend on it.
  • nightkennightken Member Posts: 2,824 Arc User
I hope they don't do it until near the end of the summer event... I have a lot of dil coming in by then and I want as much cheap zen as I can get.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

Phoenix always come after something dies. It's what they do. Sometimes they come in the form of a worm instead of a bird, but that is going off on a mythological tangent. The point is: wait for something to end, and then the Phoenix will appear.

If the Phoenix was going to appear today after the major event end shouldn't it be in the news already?

no, because the news article announcing it last time came out of the blue, AFTER the breach had already started

It's a bust nonetheless. :( Phoenix didn't rise today, after MI ended.

Should be only one mark...think the only thing that gives 5 is the one that gives dilithium.

Hope the box is coming soon...is a item or two I really want for a character.

The higher the Tier number the cheaper the item. Tier 1 - Epic, 2 - UR, 3 - VR, 4 - Rare, 5 - Uncommon.

If they're missing (I don't have any Phoenix boxes any more) then that is actually GOOD news. :) Because it would mean they're planning to put them inside *new* Phoenix boxes, subsidiarily have postponed the boxes a bit (and since they already made the announcement, likely this Thursday then).

They don't have to do a Phoenix event at all... Many of us have a HUGE pile of the reward tokens banked and can open up the store and claim these new items any day of the week.
  • ltminnsltminns Member Posts: 12,572 Arc User
Just checked the Patch Notes. Discussion of Phoenix additions has been retroactively removed.

No, just saying changes to the reward store are at the technical level completely unrelated to running Phoenix events. They can change the table at any time and part of the player base will be happy to play with the new toys. Tinkering with the store does not automatically mean "ermagerd, there must be a phoenix event coming!" People were indulging in logic about as strong as "its cloudy today, so there must be a duck in the box."

In all likelihood they'll now hold back those goodies until the next box event -- possibly because of all this unintended expectation it was generating. I was looking forward to buying some of the new items, but I get why they'd want to sync up excitement generating new stuff with Dilithium draining opportunity. I can wait.
