I'm with you...I wish if nothing else the Sarr Theln we got had access to the skin...
Actually, going from the start at T5 the order of Commander for the Breen was: Tactical (T5 Chel Gret), Tactical again (T5 Plesh Brek), Science (T6 Sarr Theln), Engineering (T6 battle lobster, err, Rezreth), Tactical (T6 Chel Boalg).
The only Carrier with an Engineering Commander we've ever gotten is the Obelisk Carrier line. Since we've never gotten another in the years since that ship's release, I don't think Cryptic thought they were very popular, which makes it unlikely to use for an Event ship where they want to draw as many people into running the Event as is feasible.
Poor old Sarr Theln. I still think the playable one is the worst Breen design, least fitting with the others.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

But if you look at our other event ships, we do get 1 science, 1 engineering, and 1 Tactical a year. We never get 2 Tactical a year.
And you forgot about the Mirror Vo'Quv, which was actually one of the tankiest ships at the time.

2016 saw both the Vorgon Xyfius (Commander Tac, Summer Event) and Breen Chel Boalg Warship (Commander Tac, Winter Event), so same year with the same Commander type does happen. Edit: I'm not saying it will necessarily be Tac, (which would be very interesting and would definitely set me to grinding for it) but that Science is also a possibility. Hopefully it's flexible in whatever secondary focus it has to make it fit more roles and players.
Mirror Vo'Quv has a Commander Science. Even though it technically has more Engineering abilities than Science I would still put it at being Science, no matter what the Admiralty card thinks, due to the max rank of ability not being Eng, but Sci. If an Lt. Comm and Lt. of something determines what it is, that would make a lot of T6s be against base type. Mirror Vo'Quv is from 2013, same as Obelisk either way, since it originally came from the Dominion lockbox PC side.

While that is true... if you go by Winter/Anniversary/Summer in that pattern, we've never had two of the same in a row.

since Im not a bettin man, Im thinking Ill use them as stand in ferasan ships. Cause I doubt Ill see another Ferasan design anytime.
