The current set of "heavy cruiser" are basically just normal cruisers.
Can we get a line of ACTUAL heavy cruisers. the typhoon would be a perfect ship for this new class of tactical orientated battlecruisers.
If not can we at least get the typhoon as a cruiser of its own, its been long sought after and it would be well received.
edit: i mean this version of the typhoon

I'm sure its possible to kitbash the thing to look even more like the older Typhoon, just with a better model. Pick a rounder saucer, upswept pylons, then pick and choose your secondary hull and nacelles.

Using the T5 MU on my AoY until Thursday when I pick up the new light cruiser, but I would really like for her to have both the light cruiser and heavy cruiser.

Technically not even in the slightest. The Command Cruisers are Excelsior inspired. They share one thing alone with the Typhoon, the number of nacelles. Their built up deflectors, steeped hull, distinct necks and saucers and pylon configuration are all excelsior not Typhoon. It is impossible to get anything even close to the Typhoon using any parts of the Command Cruisers.
The Assault Cruisers are as close as we can get to their shape (obviously as it uses parts from the Noble).
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I also liked the USS Titanic... err, Jupiter. It was awesome, partly because it was so massively ugly. Sort of like bulldogs can be so ugly they become cute.
In both cases Cryptic opted to retcon the old designs away rather than give them updated skin textures. In my opinion they could have had both old and new designs side by side in game. There was no additional work required to keep the old ones and it would have required no additional work on the new ones to bring them online with the old ones. But I wasn't given a vote, and would probably have been outvoted anyway.

T-6 DY-100 first!
The Typhoon doesn't exist any more. It was retconned out.

We have to go by what Cryptic is providing and labeling ships in-game even if completely out-of-wack.
These new ships are Advanced Light Crusiers or Advanced Light Battlecrusiers. Why a 'Light' Crusier would have the same number of weapons as a Crusier, Heavy Crusier, or Battlecrusier, I don't know. Why a 'Light' Battlecrusier would have less Inertia than a regular Battlecrusier, clueless. Why a supposed 'Light' Crusier would want to Attract Fire with generally less Hull (but not by much), who can say.
We are stuck with Cryptic's classification.

Also its a cruiser with PILOT seating.

According to Cryptic's classification the prime Connie is a (Temporal) Light Cruiser, and the Kelvin Connie is a Heavy (Command) Cruiser.
