Game freezes all the time

when I load a mission for my Fed char it gets stuck at 40 % when I click it windows says the program doesn't respond. So I close down the program restart STO and it runs the mission but it is doing it in every mission very irritating I must say !!!

It has been going on for a very long time. The solution was to run the game in DirectX 9 mode. They have, of course, removed DX9 compatibility. So far as I know, there is no other fix for the constant lock-ups.

Tried to delete STO and reinstall it but it won't help instead I have my sub woofer going haywire on me from time to time like a bad connection is going on very irritating hope they find a patch for it and soon !!! because restart the game every mission is very dread full to say the least...

This has been happening with some of my alts when I transition to DS9 space and ground maps, and force-verifying still doesn't help.

Reinstalling Arc and STO won't work unless I decide to do a Recovery on my whole system, and it's a real PITA.

This Problem i had have too ,for me Solved the the Setting ,less DataStreaming in Option this Problem
its happen on low Internet Connection or much High Latenzy , but this option is Only for more then 4 Gigs of Ram !
So if you have only 4 gigs Ram or less the game Crash after longer time ( 3,4 hours ) playing cos memory Overflow !
i have buy some Memory and get Better Internet Connection, no problem whith this isseu anymore

Yeah ok I run 32 gigs of memory and 4 GB graphics card so the game has a difficulty with state of art game Pc's ?

What your latenc to patchserver.crypticstudios.com ?
i have 100 ms with home line ,with mobil conection i have 260- 280 ms ,thats critical for time out to sto server
Some Time Hanging some time its works all over 300 ms nearly forgott to play STO

Account Server is not Gameplay or Patch Server

the patch server is always used when map change happend

To be honest it was my PC after all Now I updated my bios and most off the problems are solved even the freezes at 40% in sto are gone !!!
