1. The outside path is shorter, though not by much.
2. The flight around the ship is still just as pointless. Actually doing anything during the trip is optional and just a waste of time.
3. The entry mechanism is now a door. Much more plausible than blowing a giant hole in the side of the ship.
4. The interior has only the teleporting magic crystal stage, the big "boss" magic crystal stage and a metric boatload of empty corridors.
5. The boss crystal was nerfed to oblivion and dies in seconds. The sub-crystal is the same as before, still as annoying as ever.
6. The only enemies are a few ships in the sub core room.
7. Visible explosions have been added for the escape stage, but when the timer runs out, the ship still doesn't actually blow up.
The mission IS much faster now, but King CCA is still safe on his throne. There's an optional for doing it in under 15min, and the mission will actually take around half of that. Unfortunately, 90% of the time you'll spend just flying around doing nothing.
So basically your entire post boils down to "some of the stuff is annoying and it takes about 7 minutes to beat therefore it's boring." Would you rather we zone in, spend 10 seconds flying around in circles and then zone back out? What were you actually expecting when you've run this before and know the basic intent of it?

Well, that would be better than spending 7-10 minutes flying around in circles and then zone back out.
Expected it to be boring, though not this boring. It would've been less so if they had kept the hangars, which were the fun part of the mission.
Why is there the stupid timer on the outside still?

Why is this such a long thread, actually? LOL. I mean, seriously, ppl should post what and where they want, of course; but to me the Breach is something I'll either do not.
Breach seems fast enough. But still only gonna do it on 2 toons. Worst part is the GET OUT! part. It's hard on the big boats to make those turns. I keep hitting walls and having to back up! Thankfully, that part seems to be broke and we all get credit for 5 escapes even if we all just get lost.
There were 2 ways to fix the Breach. Make it shorter or give it more rewards. Cryptic opted for the former. Which is good if you're gonna make people run it 14 times. But they should put out the old long version too for players. Just beef up the rewards to be comparable to the time needed to run it. Its not that people are against long dungeons, they just know what the rewards per minute are and choose accordingly. Just look at Gravity Kills and Front. I never see people queued for GK and it doesn't seem that much longer to me; yet no one is there. I like GK more; it's more than just 'kill stuff' like Front is.
the time it takes to play the mission with one character over the 3 days to get the tokens required can be vastly more then it takes to play a reasonable number of characters over the 14 day of breach especially if you are get teams where the other players are on a mission to see how long they can play for, you could be stuck for 5 or 6 hours per day or longer unless you are prepared to quit or get kicked as AFK and end up with nothing.
1. The odds of getting a pug team that's actually capable of playing it for hours is about 0.1%. The most I ever got with pugs was 33 waves, and I was actually trying to get further.
2. Smart people asked for a team in a channel to arrange quick suicide runs, instead of just hoping to get a fast pug.
And people can't get kicked from queues in this game.
i guess its a matter of taste but I still prefer breach even more so now it is quicker, I don't hate Sompek enough to not play it at all but its only good point for me is its only 3 days, if it was a 14 day event I might have to seriously think of skipping it and I never skip events usually.
as a true test of durability there should be no respawning but even fairly competent players can last a fair amount of time as long as there is one player who can last long enough for the others to respawn.
I did try setting up a team to just get the token and get out but it took longer waiting around then just going in random and hoping for the best.
you might not be able to be kicked but you can still upset the other players so I would feel like a heel if I just went AFK.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
I ended up doing it eight times yesterday. Seven times in a bit over hour last night. Have the cadence down now. Seven of my fourteen Characters did it. I will do the other seven later this morning and then back to the the first batch later after Cooldown.
My newest Character will do it a few times a day to build up the various Mark pools.
Yeah, quick version for Events and I presume a slightly update normal one will be added for Daily PVE Queues. Good idea. Seems they are listening.

No. Though I haven't even tried since it's more efficient to ignore the hardpoints. Still, pugs usually have 3-4 people shoot them anyway.
I've done 4 runs so far, someone usually reaches the goal between 50-60% of the hardpoint optional.

I guess Death Star Assault was taken.
