console players getting screwed over

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
yep 7th anniversary started already for the pc and the consoles get TRIBBLE e d o v e r so not a good way to try and keep players on a console game don't look like it will make it that long on the xbox1 or ps4

    So taking all the time to port this great game from PC to console and doing that absolutely for free is TRIBBLE you over? The content there has not even caught up to PC yet. It's a different platform, on different servers, with different content available. It's basically a different game. It has not been out for 7 years yet. Hold your horses until September when you'll likely get your anniversary event that PC players will not get(probably because it's stuff we already have, but still).

    Nah it's actually been advertised on the consoles as well, in fact it's still there even though they've managed to become aware of it.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm with you guys, us consoles shouldn't be having an anniversary 5 months after release, we're just more disappointed that they've advertised it all over the console for the last month or so but when it actually comes to launch day, they then 'discover' the issue.

    I think that's what he's more upset about.

    that's not the only thing I am upset about it I am in a high level fleet on the console and one of the ships that we should have gotten at spire tier 1 never showed the TRIBBLE up so theiy keep f u c k I n g the console based players over this will not keep people around at all

    Console Captains - we apologize for the bug that listed the anniversary event as starting tomorrow, and for not catching it quicker. You do have an anniversary event coming, look for more information on that next week. Again, sorry about that

    yes and all we get is we will look into it that's all so yes console players get screwed by playword and cryptic

    Things happen. They'll get it, and all the other content that only PC has right now, in to the game eventually. These things take time though. I still don't see how spending all the time to port the game over to two different consoles and letting you play it for free is TRIBBLE people over. Enjoy what you have, the rest will get there. Be patient while waiting for it.

    you be patient your not the player based getting TRIBBLE over by the devs why put stuff in the game if we can't use it right away when we have eraned it we console players can't evan use the full set gear for most of our ships because 1 theiy are on ship we can't get yet or theiy are busted has TRIBBLE to begin with devs pull your head out of your TRIBBLE's and get a grip already fix the TRIBBLE that has been broken has TRIBBLE since the start of the console side of the game or you won't have to worry about a event for the 1st anniversary for the xbox1 or ps4 because no one will be playing any more

    Allrighty, this thread is getting kind of hostile already. I understand the frustration with the bug that caused the anniversary event to be on the console calendar for the incorrect date, and I'm genuinely sorry that you're disappointed.
