I can confirm it doesnt work for both the Multi-Vector-Assault-Mode and the Saucer Seperation. Activating the Sheshars Assault Craft ability allows for the same ability to be clicked again during the seperation process. The MVAM / Saucer Separation does not allow for the second click during the separation process
I just tried both the chevron and escort on my T6 Odyssey - the separated crafts don't disappear immediately, but if you engage in combat/get to far from them/just wait, they disappear again. Technically the patch note is correct... they don't "immediately" disappear...
After doing some testing this is the bug report I am going to submit:
So after the recent patch on 1/12/2017 it claimed that seperation pets are fixed. I tested my two ships with seperation craft and both of them are broken still in social zones like ESD. My Elachi Sheshar intel dreanaught launches it's assault craft which instantly flys off and disappears until I recall it, and my D'kyr science vessel launches its shuttle which flys off and returns right back to the ship after a 10 second cooldown on the hotbutton. That is how they work outside of ESD.
In combat zones I tested my Elachi Sheshar assault craft and it did not fly off and disappear at all, but it did not attack anything in combat and just followed me around without firing a weapon. This was in the Borg Alert, and the Badlands combat zone. My D'kyr vessel was still completely broken in Dyson Sphere Allied space when fighting the Voth. The seperation shuttle automatically returns to the ship immediately after launch even in combat. Please fix.

My Elachi Assault craft actually did 2.3dps over 4:36 minutes in combat (837 dmg)... that can't be the way its supposed to work...
Well i stayed away from my ODY's because of the bug, even after they supposedly fixed the issue, but today i wanted to get out my ODY, and the bug still exists.
On both my T6 SCI ODY and my Galaxy Retro, the console pets launch, and then fade away. its been like three months or more since this bug first appeared, IT SHOULD BE FIXED BY NOW!

Broken once again, whats to point of having a MVAM if it cant seperate for more then 2 mins
