I want to thank you all, even the ones who I might argue with all the time. We all have these differences, but we combine in our affection for this game, whether is is due to the subject matter, the mechanics, the other players, or just going for this version of the brass ring. We are the I.D.I.C. pretty much.
When I came to STO I had a lot on my plate, and this was how I managed to stay sane. All of you out there in your Mirandas, K'tingas, and lockbox ships are my online family. I can't always be active as much as I like (been lucky lately) but I will always come back. You are all part of the reason why.
Out of the many things I can be thankful for, I just wanted to let you know you are big on that list.
Happy Holiday (it's a Galaxy, pick one you like) I'm picking Thansgiving.

I agree!

That's quite ironic since your posts always make sense.
Qapla' for you, too!
You are to kind. I feel like when I make sense it's like a critical success on a doff mission,

I was already Thankful last month
I thank the Devs, the Community Management, and the Community
I am thankful for Druk, who showed me how no ship is out of range.
I am thankful for Nabreeki, who gave me a special cookie and much enjoyment on this forum.
I am thankful for all the STO posters for all the answers over the years and helping me pass the time on post.
I am thankful for the Devs providing this game, Customer Support for the help and everyone making this game tick.
Wish her the best and happy life! Thanks for being with us and your humor.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch."
"We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
And knowing is half the battle!

Well thank you, and have a Happy Regular Day Over There!

Funnily enough, this was part of my reason for joining STO back in 2011. I had a very hectic life, job security was iffy at best, my old relationship was rocky, and my old circle of friends were 'questionable' individuals to say the least.
5 years later, and I've gone through bad times and good times, but no matter what was going on, I could always jump into STO for an 'escape'., as a breather from reality. For those of a TNG persuasion, I could liken myself to Reg Barclay, and his method of using the Holosuites to escape from his reality (Hollow Pursuits), I used to use STO for the same reason.
Now I have a fantastic home, a beautiful girlfriend who is carrying our first child (and possible future player of STO) and an awesome job.
With regards to STO as a game, it can be infuriating. I've done plenty of p*ssing & moaning about the bugs, glitches, nerfing, tinkering (fixing things that didn't need to be fixed) etc. With regards to STO being an escape, a place where my brain and my sanity can take time off? STO have been invaluable in that respect.
So, for very unusual (possibly unique) reasons, I can certainly pass on my gratitude as well, cos without it, my life could have been very much worse.
It's funny how rubber-banding, getting hopelessly stuck in terrain, and not being able to interact with loot drops can be a safe and reassuring break from other things, isn't it?

Haha, very true. I think it could be considered a sort of "counter-worry", where as the strifes you face in game take away the strifes you have in real life.
Whoever would have thunk it, I'm actually describing STO as "therapeutic"
I consider zombie apocalypse movies in the same way. That may be even weirder. In any case it is always good to have something to go to.

Delta Rising is far behind us now and I really look forward to what’s to come in the future.
