i (as well as a few others i know in game) are haveing massive disconnect issues in game
most recently i have been kicked from the game no less than 30 times in an attempt to work to claim the crystaline radiation projector (which is not an account wide reclaim so the ONLY way to claim it is to run it across every single alt on my account )
i have force verified/ ran compatability tests cleaned my web history cleaned everything digital can someone please look int the issue or make it an account wide unlock (just the item not the dil reward or marks )

my download is 48.0 maps
upload is 4.4 maps.
doing the even is almost impossible
Judging by previous post this is an all platform issue.
EDIT - server issue? when I posted comment then returned to ARC home none of the news articles appeared properly and the images all had the broken link symbol showing.

it's loading. but it's going soo slow. 20 minutes it's took
I understand you are not happy with the SNR/disconnects but try to keep an open mind, they may not be Cryptics fault - it could be a DDoS attack, ISP issues anywhere between you and the server where auto-rerouting isn't kicking in. Also remember it is the weekend and any staff that are there may prefer to investigate the issue rather than post to the forum that they are doing so or may not be able to post.
Edit:- I have submitted a support ticket which highlights the issue but the way the ticket system works you have to choose the platform. So perhaps if some of the console players can also submit tickets, the issue can be moved forward. To submit a ticket click the info icon top right, then choose support from the drop down.
what did you select as the category?, i put in a ticket but the closest category was gameplay questions as there is nothing for network issues.

Under tech issues there is a connection/patching issues category.
It is getting worse, I can get in but SNR's up to almost 2 minutes. Took 4 attempts to get a single Crystalline Catastrophe event run to launch and then I got disconnected with timer on 1 sec to go, on login got booted from team and message that I couldn't join queues from this map - was in Beta quadrant sector space. Managed to get a run done but same old story, disconnect at character change and currently on 5th attempt to get back in.
Hanging during load, stuck in CE map where I was last disconnected with SNR. There's another player in map apparently stuck with me.... As typing, booted again!
On a side note, removing the SNR text from loading doesn't actually make it go away, just makes the less informed think there's a loading issue with the game. Maybe this is tactics to make people go away and scan game files....?
Wondering if this is a transatlantic connection issue.
I'm on same as you. Have been having issues of late (mostly weekends) but everything seems "Normal" for VM today.
Also running on a Virgin Media UK connection
Also did the release IP command, all of which can be found here
Now I did change proxies for patch and gameplay but have since changed them back, after doing the Sporadic ISP Issue Fix, I launched STO again (I do it via Arc) and it did a patch of around 4.3gig. Will have another go now and see if any issues have gone away.
Edit: That's a big no. Worth a try anyway.
Just ran a test on VM website and getting the "we're trying to sort it out for you" message. Every weekend their service goes to TRIBBLE! And yet they're increasing prices yet again, think this is third time this year!
I tried all the restart/release/clear cache/clear temp, do the hokey cokey and pray to the ancient gods stuff last night .... might have to consider sacrificing one of the students living next door if things don't improve soon.
At least virgin tech support are better than our previous ISP (a BT affiliate with internal security issues of late) who advised that I needed to upgrade to Windows Vista to run their settings cd - I was on win7 at the time!!! All I wanted was to check what the default password on the router was as the engineer who "installed" the service in our new house hadn't bothered to check the connection was working and had left the routers internal settings tied to our old phone number etc.

same here.
Loading with or without arc - mostly doesn't even start the part where it's patching or loading tribble/holodeck.
When it does, selecting a tcharacter doesn't load that one or give the Option of hitting "Play" (which is greyed out.
Yesterday evening I managed to log on - only to be greated by a "Server not responding" and a Counter that went to about 60 before I was disconected.
I couldn'T do my Crystal runs today - shame as I really saw this as an opportunity to grind out marks as well (for the PvEs that give fewer marks).
KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis

all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
highest DPS: 60.982
Common theme appears to be VM. I'm guessing there are issues with their US routing. I've had trouble accessing some US websites as well.
Although that said I have seen some other posters who are in continental Europe complaining past few days, so is possible it could be stateside node where the transatlantic traffic is distributed to the network infrastructure. But the VM connection is too frequent for pure coincidence ... unless all UK Star Trek fans choose VM as their preferred ISP - that would be a wierd demographic
I took 7 hours to run 13 characters through the CC event last night .... wouldn't normally mind missing a run during an event but since both my fed and kdf fleet have more inactive/can't be bothered members than active ones I need that dil to get T3 at most holdings and the vendor trash to boost my EC. Plus I was hoping to get the event done in 14 days to grab the max bonus event rewards to boost funds further.
I'm on Virgin too, getting lots of server not responding messages. Running game on 6 core athlon and 4 gig 970 card, was running fine until yesterday :-/

For 7+ hours ive been trying to play the game. When i get in the game it keeps saying SERVER NOT RESPONDING then kicks me out.
Then i try again to load, and it comes up with RELOADING THE MAPPING.
The it comes up with, SERVER TIMED OUT or RETRY AGAIN LATER.
This is getting VERY ANNOYING.
Im guessing you have been adding parts of the big program for the fleet starbase, so when you add the last parts the game wont be down for a long maintenance.
Which has caused some glitches, but the problem we are getting must be something else.
I am in a group chat and they are able to play, others have joined the chat to see if others are having problems.
And you cant put it down to some countrys having the problem , im in England and some can play and some cant. And its also the same for people in the States.
It's an ISP to ISP issue.
As usual, Cognetco is throwing a hissy fit over traffic between our isps and Cryptic's isp. So the issue isn't with Cryptic, it's with being re-routed through Cognetco. Which is something neither we or Cryptic have little control over. Just inform your ISP so they are aware of the issue, a tracert should also help the ISP confirm the problem lies with Cognetco. I've already been in contact with my ISP, as it's not just affecting Cryptic's games.
I've ran a few tracerts over the past two days and the time outs always happen when it reaches atlas.cognetco.com
