The Mirror Invasion event rewards....What?!?!

Doing the event just for an Admiralty card? I don't think I'm the only one that thinks that reward is a waste of time. I may just run it once and forget about it. I think the New TOS Temporal ships would have made a better reward for that event than as a R&D pack Uber rare reward that only pops for people who open hundreds of them.

    Prize is ok, not a fancy thing, and a lot of rewards.. seems nice to me..

    I'll do it in my main...That's about it. Admiralty cards aren't very intriguing in all honesty.

    I might do this on my main but that would be it, another Admiralty card isn't very appealing. My reps are all maxed and I have the gear I want from it, and I have a ton of unrefined dil already so I certainly don't need more of that. Guess I won't be feeding cryptic's precious metrics this time around.

    If your account is so advanced none of those rewards have value to you, you've already fed their metrics just fine.

    Now I won't feel bad by skipping this event.While ship cards are nice they are an aspect of the game I hardly use.once I get to level 10 on an admiralty I kind of just ignore it till the new one is released, or I am in dire need of some EC or Dilithium.They really need to restructure these mirror and crystalline events. New players have no chance of getting past event prizes.Old players soon find themselves annoyed by the constant grind of these events.

    Not that I will be getting it.
    I have 114 cards on my main and over 60 on my other alts, not to mention plenty of the other resources that are rewarded for this.

    Would be different if it was the Crystalline event, as I love that one.

    I think I might skip that one entirely. Sure the marks and dil is nice but the MU event, once again untouched by the devs this year, is too much pain to suffer through for a cruiser admiralty card.

    I'll do it again for 50K dil. The admiralty card is great to have too if you do a lot of admiralty missions, like I tend to.

    I have never run into any AFK players in all the times I have run this Event. I will add that the Crystalline Event is the most Alt Friendly.

    It's not the first time they've used an admiralty as an event prize. The last Crystalline Catastrophe event awarded the Voth city ship card (I can't remember the name of it at the moment).

    Meh to admiralty and double meh to the many expected leeches in this event.

    The Voth ship, at least, had some really unique (and impressive!) Admiralty stats - the Stadi is a pretty standard command cruiser, the +20 Tac to other ships is nice but hardly a gamechanger. Plus, IMO, the Breach is a much more interesting mission than the Mirror Incursion.

    OTOH, one could argue that a mediocre reward is a reduction in pressure on players - you really won't be missing out on anything if you don't complete the event.

    Personally, I've got a 29C themed alt who needs to complete the old agony phaser project, so they'll get a run, otherwise probably just my Temporal Agent who could really use the marks.

    I only do it for the dilithium really. Got enough admiralty card already but the other rewards are decent.

    I don't see the point in the admiralty card as I already hit the admiralty cap with the cards I have. Its so easy to hit the cap what's the point in yet more admiralty cards? As for dill that become useless years ago. Ended up with another 1 million dill last event and I wasn't even trying to collect it. No idea what to do with it. I use omega to upgrade without dill so dill income is far higher then dill outgoings. Add that with the pointless timegate where you sit around for 5mins with nothing to do in the mission and it makes you wonder why its worth playing the mirror event. The mission is boring due to all the long waits and the reward is terrible.

    Didn't they use to have a decent item reward for MI. A card is the weakest thing to offer. Not worth doing if you have huge raw dil and mark reserves.

    In consideration of what I would face with my 10 characters if the reward would pose any sort of incentive I’m basically glad for the poor one we get this time.

    Good job cryptic, I mean it! A reward nobody wants to have for an event nobody wants to play is what I call a fair deal.

    I might do it on one toon just because it's a queue that i didn't do 10000 times already. As for rewrds - i dont need them. Got 80+ admirality cards already and doing ISA 4 times on each toon (15 min per toon tops) will give me almost twice more dil than this event after two weeks.

    I'm looking forward to it, I don't have 80+ Admirality Cards, and I don't do ISAs.

    I actually really have always enjoyed the Mirror Events.
