I'm not overly enthusiastic about the way it is being implemented (I have a metric crapload of R&D packs in my bank that I have been waiting for an event to open)

Yeah... previously purchased R&D packs are not the same as these promotional R&D packs. Every time there is a promotion R&D pack for a specific ship that promo pack is unique to all other promo R&D packs that offers the chance to win a promo ship from past offerings. "Normal" R&D packs will never contain a promo ship because they are not coded to have a promo ship.

If you want the chance to win the T6 Connie, then you need to purchase R&D packs between now and 9/15/2016 @ 10am.

Ok AHat let me explain something to you. You assume I was refering to my self WRONG IDIOT. I was refering to the crowd that always pisses and moans they don't have time to do events etc. , etc. . The whole point of my post is this. A lot of you Fwads are saying doo dee doo derp derp they released the ship derp derp. Reality is they haven't really they have released a R&D pack with a chance (who knows what the odds are and how many they plan to have ultimatley for folks to get) to get a Ship that by all rights should have been a C-store item. PERIOD. As I stated in the opening I gladly would drop a large chunk of cash for C-store TOS T-6 Constitution as that would insure one got what they want instead of the odds are far more common Lobi. It would also keep it out of the hands of the farmers who have invaded the game selling items off site. But I guess that is beyond your grasp fwad.

Yeah the quote got fubared because YOU started off a chain messed up. I did not bother to fix your mistake.

A ship that they said they can't be release AT ALL should have been a c-store ship?!? In WHAT UNIVERSE does that make sense? I don't give a rat's **** what YOU would do and neither does cryptic. What matters is what the masses will do...and the masses will do what they will...regardless of what you do. You are an insignificant ant...deal with it, you tiny tiny man. As far as the farmers are concerned...this game has WAY less of an issue with that then most other F2P MMO. If you think this game is invaded, you are sadly mistaken. This game is just too damn easy for the farmer to invade en mass. You can make 100 million EC in hours without the risk to your credit cards or identity being stolen. You would have to be a special kind of idiot to buy from one of those sites. Besides which, that is an issue with cryptic to deal with...not YOU. YOU DO NOT GET TO MAKE THAT CHOICE. It's their buisness, not yours. If you buy them out, then sure, by all means, make everything a c-store ship and see how long you can keep the doors open. And because I don't agree with you, I am a fawd...yeah...way to show off how smart you are. You are a tiny man with a tiny mind. Wanna play the insult game? I'm game...but I am warning you, with your level of wit that you have shown so far, you are not going to come out looking very good.
I feel bad for you I really and honestly do. So sad there are folks like you who feel the need to try and bring everyone down to your level. It really must be hard living at the bottom of the rungs of society always grasping at the dust motes that you think are riches. Dust motes that are the dandruff of the world, the dross cast aside by the world winnowing out the chaff. Sad really that you savior dandruff and dross with the full flavor of life forever above your reach. Never realizing you are the chaff cast aside. I pity you I really do that dust and ashes of the world are all you know and have made you small bitter and beyond my contempt but has left you standing in a tiny ever so small pool of pale waning light that is my pity.

This edit is a better attempt...but really, other then adding some flowery prose, your insult basically amounts to I know you are but what am I. So you have graduated from a single brain cell to a kindergardener. Congradulations.

Also I didn't need to bring you down to my level...I have to crawl down to yours. Your level of intellect is severly wanting. Try harder. Attempting to hide your lack of wit and intellect behind meaningless flowery prose won't work here...although I will grant you it is a better attempt that using fwad. Still...quite pathetic.

Sadly you know nothing and cannot grasp that you know nothing and are nothing. You are but the dross of the universe a fly speck on the hindquarters of the world. A mere fizzle in the darkness quickly forgotten and remembered by no one.

Id like to point out that you made the first insult... Just saying. And really this has just come down to insults over something that no one should have an aneurysm over. I really hope a moderated comes by and just shuts down this flame thread

    I am confused.

So... we have 23rd century ships (Daedalus, Ranger) and we have 26th century ships (Nautilus, Paladin). 26th century ships can be "dressed up" as 23rd century ships, but are still 26th century ships.

So... what are these? Like, actual D7s and Connies built in the 26th century? Why?

Why would the 26th century Federation build D7s and T'liss's, when Klingons and Romulans have been assimilated by the Federation? Did they do it for the lulz, like the Caitian Carrier and Andorian Escorts?

Space pancakes and antiques. The Federation shipyards of the future must be run by odd beings.

Even the Tier 2 to Tier 5 23rd century ships are called Temporal vessels. Just like the new Connie. So they are all future-tech designs.

Why the Tempral Agents would use a Connie? Well, that's easily explained, oh, wait, what's that over there? A flying pink Tellarite? *runs off*

Is this ship still going to be the teeny tiny ship that we fly at Tier 1 just Tier 6 now?

Or will they make this one bigger?

My Tier 5 and Tier 6 bug ships are fairly small too. Please remember that excellent performance can come in all sizes. >:)

You'd think they would do something like make it bigger to make it stand out.

Perhaps but we look at the most iconic ship ever. Even if it has the most miserable stats peeps will buy it like crazy. Size will not matter to many, originality however to most. :)

I bought a few LB keys on Exchange - and never got my Money worth out of it (even at 1,5M EC back then...)
I never have spent ZEN on LB keys and only twice on a DOFF or R&D pack.
The Odds aren'T worth it. Cryptic are making Profit off People with a gambling addiction.
    18 characters
    KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
    FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
    TOS: 1 tac
all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
    highest DPS: 60.982

Not in all cases. As I stated in the other threat I want a special lobi armor for my main toon. In order to get the required lobi I need to open 20 of those packs. Hopefully I don’t get a promo ship as I don’t want it and would need to open one more R&D box then. ;)

So... the future Federation builds T2 Daedalus and T6 Nautilus, but goes straight for T6 Connie? Why not directly build a T6 Daedalus? What strange, arbitrary construction rules.

    The future is weird.

So this is just a dress up/skin for the 26th century T6 Paladin not actually a ship so they are just using the model they already have and letting you dress up the Paladin as a Connie and putting this skin in a gambling box.... this just screams money grab.

Am I the only captain who thinks that the temporal ships are all lovely craft that came from the time of the Wells?

And now to get one with the connie skin is brilliant?

But would it look like the ent-J?
