Yeah right T-6 TOS Constitution/Ktinga/Bird of Prey is here NOT REALLY.

Seriously Cryptic way to go make it a RNG ship in an R&D pack for only a short time nice one! Yup resellers (you know who they are cryptic and you do nothing to stop them) will snap them up. They will reap all kinds of cash from the sales revenue that should go to Cryptic. Wish you would post the odds Cryptic for once. All three should have been C-store. Just saying you would sell more that way. I'd shell out the cash for a C-store three set but not a TRIBBLE over of the fans that you have done. Yup thanks for nothing Cryptic!

    It says a lot they can be bothered to make kdf/rom specific lockbox ships yet seem to have decided all the rom/kdf are worth now are multifactions

    Also, the fact theres a t6 connie worries me as its up there along with a borg lockbox that sto is heading into a cashgrab period before folding, considerjng how we were told there woukd never be a t5/6 connie...

    I'm also not fond of this bs. It's becoming a very bad trend to put faction ships into boxes & stuff. First the ships the non-fed factions desperately needed and now this TRIBBLE.
    Let alone the tos connie but also the friggin T'liss which has counterparts on both T5 & 6 which are just locked out of it's skin and the K'tinga which never got a store version in the first place, only free/dil T3, T5 for 200k fc and T5-fleet.

    What I say about this also applies to the TOS-era hologram BOFFs.

    "Be rich to get" is becoming a bad trend with AOY. It dampens the excitement of the 50th anniversary.

    These items should have been event-based or C-Store direct purchases. Let *all* Federation players have a realistic shot to feel the excitement of flying a T6 Prime Timeline Constitution. Let that otherwise 23rd century Romulan character enjoy blowing stuff up in a T6 T'Liss. Allow that new AOY toon to beam down with Spock, McCoy, and 2 of his other BOFFs.

    But to have to go to a convention (most of the times, not cheap) and hope the RNG is in my favor and/or have to grind EC for 1-3 ships that will eventually keep going up in price?

    I've about lost my excitement for AOY and what STO will do/is doing for the 50th anniversary. If it's almost all going behind an "insert insane amounts of cash here" system, it's not doing anything to help the player feel the 50th anniversary is actually anything worth celebrating.

    I'm glad Cryptic realizes that crafting is a very useful tool, and encouraging people to get out there and craft is always a good thing. It lowers your blood pressure to work with your hands, you know.

    I feel nothing but utter comtempt at Cryptic for doing this (or allowing PWE to do this).
    I've been practically begging for a high tier, non-fleet, C-Store D-7/K'Tinga.
    Now, it's here, but, what do they do? Lock it behind a gambling wall. And, what's worse, stick it there for only a few days.

    I'm so pissed right now about this.
    Complete slap to my face.
    Thanks for scewing us over.

    The real tragedy here is- People are gonna fork over HUGE $$$$ for these R&D Gambling Packs. Cryptic/PWE will make a massive profit from it and laugh themselves straight to the bank. All it will do is encourage them to put even more highly sought and requested ships into gambling boxes.

    Not surprised by this. Not upset either. Not exactly happy they went this particular route, but they didn't have to do it at all. So, I guess, at the end of the day, I'm okay with it.

    While they may end up costing some folks a ton of cash to get, and others a ton of EC to get, at least we can get them now.

    I figured someday they would release a T6 Connie, and they are. And as a bonus there is a chance at getting T6 Rom and Klingon ships as well.

    Guess I'll go off and farm EC for a bit. While I don't see myself flying a T6 Connie on day one, perhaps someday I will end up flying one.

    This is something that has been in the back of my head with all of these cashgrab attempts. From what I recall, Branflakes mentioned that STO was cleared up into 2018. This may or may not have changed recently--especially with STO going over to PS4 and XBox--but it is something to be mindful. I certainly would hope we would get a warning before something like that would occur, but the responsibility of vigilance often rests on the players.

    If you have the time and IF they are on the exchange sure anything is possible that is if you can get it off the exchange before they all go away and the time period ends to get it out of an R&D box. That said after opening many boxes in the past to no real gain before the offers expired good luck with that. I have a life outside of the game.

    Releasing these ships via promo was the correct decision IMO. People clamored for the Constitution for so long, without maintaining their poker face. There is an opportunity for a great lesson to be learned here from a buying perspective.

    To those worried about the game folding. Champions Online is still going. I think STO is good for a long while yet if that game is still getting players. Also, not saying its bad, just pointing out that its older.

    Not a case of people moaning, lots of people "presumed" the Kelvin timline Connie was the best we would get, going off past conversations with devs ect , so I can imagination lots of people splashed out on that Kelvin Connie think its the closet they will get, and now oh look a "real" t6 Connie comes along.. Only ask what will Cryptic do next to boost PR, each week they seem do something stupid/greedy.
