Also* The enterprise at the beginning of the movie, is different than the one from the previous movies, the pylons are swept back, the nacelles are smaller, (less balloon like), and the neck is thinner, it has a more spindly look than the Enterprise we've seen from Into Darkness, or the first movie. http://pop.h-cdn.co/assets/16/26/2048x1387/gallery-1467039028-star-trek-biggun.jpg
So the ship's been refitted since we've seen it last, Then there's the version we see at the end of the movie too,
So the representation of the ship in game is a version or two behind. I just think it'd be cool to have the option to fly the latest version, maybe even mix and match parts, but I realize that Cryptic is busy and that there isn't much president for such customization options with a lock box ship. One can dream tho.
To those worried about spoilers, I've purposely omitted saying anything that one can't gleam from the trailers.
The ship received a small refit between ID and BEY then a complete refit at the end of BEY. It's similar to how the TOS Enterprise had a minor rift between Cage/WNMHGB and TOS S1 then a complete refit between TOS and TMP.
The minor refit will probably be added as an option if CBSamount send the model to Cryptic. However Cryptic didn't add the Cage options for the TOS Conni even after they remade the model from scratch for AoY so don't get your hopes up.
The major refit, the A (Yorktown Class?), will likely be a separate ship class as the TOS and TMP Constitutions are in-game already. Double dip on the money from players and also keep to the theme of what they did with the PR Connis.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Still getting used to the JJPrise we have ingame. The Engineering hulI on the ingame ship looks a little spindly from some angles. I am enjoying the ship and it is fun to fly but sometimes it does look the tiniest bit...off.
I dunno if I like this skin the OP posted or not. This one looks like the artists were trying a little too hard. The stumpy, nearly vertical neck is jarring when compared with the graceful lines in the rest of the design.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
Hold on a minute let me get this strait, not only did you just admit to watching a film you called horrible and refused to watch but you also just publicly admitted that you illegally pirated it online? I think you've finally crossed the line. There's nothing funny about breaking the law and if you think it's somehow justified because you hate the films and the people who worked on them you are wrong.

That is not what it looks like in Beyond, that must be some earlier, in-progress concept art.
"I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am."
Guys first SPOILERS! Good god, there are some who still haven't seen it(i'm not one of them, but still!).
Second, that's not the ship that made it into Beyond.

Also how did they redesign her while 3 years in uncharted space? ( yeah, I downloaded this morning it, watched and threw up on it at the 40:17 mark)
I didn't make it that far in the 2009 before puking. Last scene I saw was the "I rigged the test, now to look like a fool. Showing it off chomping my apple." Ever since then you know the story. I refuse to see a puke fest. I'm know to have a "Iron Stomach". A weaker person would puked lot faster than that over it.

I just came back from seeing beyond... that was a damned fine movie... more importantly that was a damned fine trek movie.
Still not a fan of certain aspects of the KT-A but that movie was heaps and reams better than either/both of the JJ movies.

I mean, if you've seen the trailers, then you know what happens to the Enterprise.

HAH! I thought so! The impulse engines are made as one unit too.
This actually happened at the very ending of Into Darkness (before the 5-ye... umm, 3-year-mission began)... We got a short glimpse on these upgrades in the final shot of the movie. In Beyond, the Enterprise is exactly the same as we saw in ID's final shot of her.
IE: There was one major refit of the Enterprise. The A is technically no refit as it is a new ship.
Apologies for the poor resolution (it was the only video clip I've been able to find thus far), but it does at least give you a better idea of what the "real deal" looks like. Overall I like the new refit and I think it's a nice improvement.
The new Enterprise A looks... ok. But the side profile is just hideous. I mean, look at THIS:
That thing looks disgusting. Needs longer nacelles, and the Pylons need to be attached futher back on the nacelle. Not right at the buzzard collector. The rest looks fair.
Well, we have a Kelvin Ent-A now. Now we can get to a Kelvin V'ger for the fourth movie. (Hate to see the lens flares for the 'ascension bit, at the end of the original ST1 movie, in a JJ version. Would need shades in a dark theater.)

Also im not sure why people have called this a concept. While this is concept art, This IS what made it into the movie at the end. Its disgusting.

I love it ... except those good awful pylons, those need to go, if/when it makes it into STO I hope to hell they let us kitbash it with the '09 JJ-prise.
Cryptic can just add some variations to the drop-down choices for the KTHCC and be done with it. No need to release a whole other ship.
It's not you- it's me. I just need my space.

While I agree that it is a spoiler, the creation of a JJ-1701-A was a forgone conclusion the second the Enterprise was shown going down in the trailer. The only question was if it would be shown first in this movie, or the next.

yep, and thankfully it's not the one which made it into the movie.

yeah was going to say the same that it looks nothing at all like this at the end of the movie
