But what will the Kelvans do in the Kelvin timeline .... ?
Qapla!
I suspect it will involve dehydrated geometric shapes.

I don't care Gene Roddenberry had the idea for Andromeda - this is still a Star Trek game and there is no place for stuff from that Kevin Sorbo fanshow here!

I just read this entire thread and I have to say, this should sooo be closed so no one can post on it again. >.>;;
Kelvans aren't from the Kelvin Timeline they are from the PRIME Timeline unless there's a Kelvin Timeline variant of the Kelvan Empire. lol
The Rising of the Delta is the best expansion ever, and people love it to death because it is a good day to die in the endless struggle for supremacy of your own conviction. (A spin off of the Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and all the players love it.)
Because for all we know, the (prime) Kelvans were survivors of the (KT) Kelvin thrown through time and space and given great powers by crossing two galactic rims ala Gary Mitchell... I mean, after all, with the Iconians hiding out in Andromeda and coming back to the Milky Way, it would have been the perfect opportunity for us to learn more about the Kelvans and the Andromeda galaxy and we got nothing, so they could be Kelvin survivors...
And Spot could be a dog if one uses the Fallacy of the Undistributed Middle. (A dog has four legs, my cat has four legs, therefore my cat is a dog)

It's worse .. the Kelvans are from the Andromeda the series! For real!
That series does take place in a galaxy so it's still by description, the Andromeda galaxy! They got there as you say, by being in escape shuttles ejected from the Kelvin, and pulled into the time space distortion surrounding the Narada. lacking the ability to properly control their exit point they did indeed cross galactic boundaries as you say, but also dimensional ones!
With the increased power from exposure to the galactic rims, they helped to create the political climate the Kevin Sorbo's character was familiar with (in his Andromeda galaxy), before using the more evolved version of Gary Mitchell's powers to try to return home! Like Mitchell, they had begun to go mad. As they crossed into the milky way one last time the power they had overloaded, leaving them confused about their origin, but still possessed of awesome technology.
Sigh ignorence is bliss. You do know the timeline is named after the ship not the Alien race in TOS right? So yeah I think you need to go back in your corner sparky.
It is not tow different thing and I believe IMDB over wiki alpha.It sure sounds like Kelvins to me as in the episode.
The Kelvin is a ship not a timeline so why refer to it as that?Stop using JJ Abrams as he knows nothing of Star Trek glad it ending.
The fact of the matter is, it IS in fact, "Kelvans". Memory Alpha only deals with officially mandated sources, and prides itself on doing so; IMDB has been spotty on such things in the past, and frankly, doesn't go into the same level of detail and reporting on Trek that Memory Alpha does.
Memory Alpha reports it as "Kelvans" basically because CBS itself has clarified it as such.
It really doesn't matter if you believe that or not, these are just the facts. Sorry if you can't get behind that, though, but it is what it is.
Oh yeah sparky they are making a new film so the KT universe films aren't going away. Do a tiny bit of research there sparky. And hint spell check is your friend.
