Well, one is a fictional character with a mostly positive message that even his greatest fans barely follow, and the other was killed by a bridge.
Regardless of whether he was the messiah or not, something that is up to everyone to make their own opinion on, Jesus himself was not fictional, he did exist.
So to call him a fictional character is simply incorrect.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.

That's not even slightly certain. There are no contemporaneous records, only ones made after the messianic cult was solidified. It's a very early form of retconning different people associated with different stories into a single figure. Remember, wandering prophets were ten a penny in zeroth century Judea, the associated deeds of several of them would align with the Jesus figure when interpreted that way. The only reason it seems otherwise is dishonest in historical circles by ascribing some level of significance to 'proving' a Jesus that goes above and beyond the effort they would go to for another figure. There are great leaders and kings we cannot be certain on if they were myth or distorted truth. A carpenter of little note, executed for sedition would scarcely be noticed by neutral sources.
There are works of that era that should make mention of a man doing magic in Roman occupied territory, but aside from two forged passages in the works of a Jewish author, and two disputed passages in the works of Roman writers there is no record of such magic.
And then there's Philo of Alexandria.
Philo of Alexandria was born in 25 BCE in Alexandria, Egypt. He died about 47-50 CE. He wrote an account of the Jews covering the entire time that Jesus is said to have existed on earth. Philo spent time in Jerusalem where he had intimate connections with the royal house of Judaea. One of Alexander's sons (and Philo's nephews), Marcus, was married to Berenice, daughter of Herod Agrippa, tetrarch of Galilee and Peraea, 39-40 CE. After the exile of Herod Antipas – villain of the Jesus saga – Marcus ruled as King of the Jews, 41-44 CE. But nothing from Philo on Jesus, the other 'King of the Jews'.
There has never been, nor will there ever be a honest objective approach to examining a historical inquiry into the Jesus figure that doesn't conclude in his existence for no other reason that his position of importance in the lives of an uncountable number of Christian or Muslim historians, i.e. the people most likely to undertake serious work in Middle Eastern history.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Agreed. Bruce Lee always wins.

Wow. Kirk never had abs like that!
But does this jesus still turn the other cheek? because that would be important, as he would still leave a wide opening for Kirk to get a shot in.
