OK, so now we've seen the Dev Blog (
http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/10033953 for anyone who hasn't seen it) giving us the official info on their stats/consoles/abilities etc...which of the shiny new 26th Century ships is going to tempt you to open up your wallet in a couple of weeks, assuming you haven't already bought the pack of course?
Most of my time in-game to date has been spent in cruisers, and when the initial images were released it was the Paladin and the Sagittarius which caught my attention. As time has gone on though, my preference has changed and the Dev Blog has only really confirmed it - it's the Theseus Temporal Escort that does it for me.
I like the sleek, uncomplicated design with their hints of Akira and even Miranda/Soyuz (two nacelles positioned slightly below a non-circular saucer) - it looks exactly like what I'd think a 26th Century Miranda would look like. Combine that with 5 Tac consoles and +15 Weapon Power for the obligatory pew pew stuff, and a console that doesn't look entirely useless on paper, and I'm pretty much sold.
What about you guys?

"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
I will probably be getting the cross faction Science and Raider ships though.
However, I am still tempted to buy the Temporal pack for the geekpart, but I am waiting for the news how the JJ-verse ships will be released. Will have to safe for zen if it will be Lockbox, and then Tempora pack will not be on my buy list.
Im considering getting the Dreadnaught cruiser set or Arbiter set for my new toon.

Very true. Getting the canon designs out there should be a top priority one could assume, but meh. I just hope they don't get the temporal spec when they are around at one point I'd also like to add the Star Cruiser to the mix, the last thread about it sparked my interest, although I doubt it's high on my priority list and more of a "if I at some point have 2 million dil lying around I do not invest in my two-people-fleet"

I'm curious about these too. A cross faction ship should mean, in theory, a truly account wide unlock. That might be fun.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

Same here. The design goes even further away from what I consider to be Trek-like and there are just tons of way more beautiful and immersive ships out there for me to even consider flying one of these things that might as well have dropped out of a surrealist painting.
Secondly, the layouts, stats and especially the Temporal boff abilities seem mediocre to downright underwhelming and redundant, while the console sets are probably going to follow the pattern pretty much every other console set out there: nice for immersion/style, but a waste of console slots.
So that leaves 3000 Zen aka $30 for an Admiralty card...not going to happen.
I think our Klingon, Romulan and soon to be other friends might not take too kindly to that.

More seriously, mix and match with the 23rd Century pieces if you really want to make it look more 25th Century. Toss on the Type 7 skin and away you go. I'm sure we can all come up "official" with 25th century designs by using the two model types and the Type 7 skin.
So far the Nautilus is the only one I'm really tempted to buy, but I can resist that temptation if I need to. I'm hoping they release the 31st century stats today.
Needless to say, I won't be buying any of them. I wouldn't even use them if they were granted free.
Being critical doesn't take skill. Being constructively critical- which is providing alternative solutions or suggestions to a demonstrated problem, however, does.
I went with the mega pack and am in no way sad about it, After seeing the fresh out of space dock video though, the Nautalis has gone from being my least favorite to the best looking one period.
I'm still debating the Starter Pack. I'm trying to decide if I want the trait from the Paladin since I'm probably not going to fly it on anyone unless I roll a second TOS toon for whatever reason. $20 isn't that much, great deal on a T6 with the nice bonus of a costume I've always wanted, but then there's the fact that I've already got a T1 TOS Connie, I could care less about the 0718 BOff, and the title is a non-factor. But is it really a great deal if I'm not going to use the thing I'm getting a deal on for more than a couple of hours? I dunno...

Kind of a letdown that both T6 cruisers have a 4/4 layout and chances are the 31st century one will follow suit.
Still looking forward to the raider & sci ship.
Glad to see someone else liking the Theseus!
I can respect, though, those who don't like the overall aesthetic of the new ships - it's all about opinions and nothing is going to appeal to everyone. For example, I thought the initial wave of Fed T6 ships looked bloody awful , but you see enough of them flying around to suggest other people liked the look.
Oh, and for me at least the purchase of a Theseus doesn't change my desire for other things hinted at on this thread and mentioned elsewhere - I think if/when that happens it may well be the closest we ever get to seeing ESD overwhelmingly surrounded by one type of ship rather than the usual variety (depending, of course, on how its made available).
