Regarding the dance, to get credit for double dances (ie, 'do the snaaaake!' twice), choose a neutral dance between each dance move (such as the ferengi or samba) - that way you get both points instead of one
There is no such thing as "extra credit". If the instructor tell you to "do the snake" for a second time in a row, then just sit back and relax since there is nothing you need to do.
In one of the dance sessions I was in last night, the instructor repeated "do the sidestep" 4 times in a row. Since the I was already doing the sidestep, I did not bother to do anything until a the instructor said a different dance move. I got "credit" for all 4 sidesteps.
Jaguar is right. There is no 'extra credit'. You get a flat 100 favors for 38 dance moves. If the called dance move is already being done, you don't have to click again to get 'credit'.
It's the easiest 100 favors you'll ever make. Pin your emote window and click away!
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
Sandcastles can be built at any time and turned in later when the event starts. Avoid the crowds and build your castle during an event you don't particularly like or between things.
There's a way to pin the emote menu so that it stays open beside the chat window. This makes the dance contest much easier, but I've forgotten how to do it.
A very important footnote for the Dance Party.
The instruction "just dance" (/e dance) is labeled as Dance (Mix) in the emote list.
Yes, I mentioned that already, but never hurts to mention it again.
As for pinning the emote window, that's easy.
Click on the 'gear' icon next to the text field in your chatbox. Scroll to emotes and highlight it, then click the little 'pushpin' icon in the top right corner of the emote window. You can then scroll to the dance emotes and click away. The window is re-sizeable so you can fit all the dance moves into it.

I've tried making use of the site to site transporter to try to speed things up with the temporal artifacts. So starting from the resort for example, if the scanner seems to be pointing in the general direction of either the promenade or camp, I'll beam over and see if I'm further or closer. Try to come up with another direction from there by just going forward, backward, left, right, scanning each time. I haven't done it enough to tell whether it makes it any quicker on average, but it might be worth playing with.
It at least gives you more information to work with.
I may break down and try the scavenger hunt again before it's over with. Right now I could run a Flying High and sand castle and still pull in 40 easy favors. Both of those are much less stressful to me and I can complete them in no time at all while scavenger hunt is on.
Yes, I know others already have it down to a science. We're all different. I'm glad at least some others figured it out so quickly and are sharing their tips for others.

I KNOW it's incomplete because the first two artifacts I hunted down aren't marked. (one was on the NW beach and the other along the south side of the river)
Like I said, everyone is different. Today is being a tad more stressful (unrelated to the game at all), so when I do get on the game I'm likely to only do things that don't cause me to throw my hands in the air and virtually scream "F-IT!" and drop the mission entirely.

Anyone updated this map? Just curious.
What you linked is actually the second version. I'll update it again if I find points that aren't marked.

Okay, I tried the scavenger hunt again, using the tips here, and found it well-within a few minutes. Still wouldn't bother to do it on alts till the sticky login screen is fixed. It's annoying enough trying to get three horga'hn hunts in before time runs out.

Like I said, never hurts to mention things more than once. Heck, sometimes my husband has to smack me on the head to get my attention.
Some times I kiss my wife on the neck to get her attention. It's not a romantic gesture for her, because it gives her the shivers, but it's a real attention grabber.

We do have to consider that not everyone goes back to read previous pages in a thread, so I fully expect some questions to come up again and again. But that is the point of this thread. To answer questions and provide tips.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

You can bank scavenger hunts until it's time for the event and then just turn them in all at once.
I hate the dance event because it bores me, so I usually use that time to scan for artifacts.
Also... I figured this out today:
"Resolved an issue where the "Spiral the Great Tower" objective for Flying High wouldn’t complete."
It was getting checked off if you do the course through the jungle behind the resort.... But you can't do that unless you also get the jungle path as one of your 4 randoms.

I am farming marks. And the race is fun, despite the whiners in chat and on this forum demanding that the race be changed cause they can't grab a flag.
I doubt the SE or WE PvP race will ever be changed. Not that it's hard to figure out if you do them enough.

Good News, Everyone! I just came in 2nd in the Powerboard Race with like 20 people in it. Me? 2nd? I know, right? Still cann't believe I was that far out in front.
So, has anyone else jumped one ramp only to land on the next ramp? I happened twice. I'm not kidding, I was up above a floater the second time.
Hey, Devs? You may have over tweaked it last week.
I've actually jumped one ramp and sailed *over* the next one. Happened at the last three ramps. I jumped the first one and sailed over the middle one and jumped the last one.
I also ended up on top of a hill once. Wasn't DQ'd, so ran back down and finished.

I'm usually running it during the PvP race. Already got a monkey with a Tiki Mask. Don't need anymore and I'm not farming marks.
