Ok, the current thing is final, except...

Is there a Cryptic email address I should send it to? The "contact us" at the bottom of the page goes to PWE contact and I don't think they care.

Or, should I make a forum post with a bunch of admins mentioned?

I don't really care if pvp is "Fixed" I just don't want it outright removed, becuase even if it's broken, causal people can still have fun with it.

Both, also post to the Reddit, and hit Trendy with links via her Twitter. don't hesitate to cc to Zeronius Rex, Salami, and Geko.

for that matter, try sending your results to Priority One, Tribbles in Ecstacy, and the other 'media' in the Media board.

I sent an email to PWE asking them to forward it to Cryptic in the subject line, if I don't hear back then I will use the other media.

I sent an email to PWE asking them to forward it to Cryptic in the subject line, if I don't hear back then I will use the other media.

... u don't really expect an answer on that one, do ya? wasted hope if so! as being said, if you really wanna dive into promoting pvp to the games' own devs (somehow a real bad joke in itself), u might have to try a bit harder/be a bit more spotable, voiceful and maybe even annoying.

I sent my thing to Cryptic via support, and here's the response I got. It's not much, but it's not doom, either.

you DO realize that's an automated, canned response, right? it's the same reply they give out for everything - just swap 'PvP improvement' for 'X' and it covers any other concern they receive...and never read​​

How about a third option, ignore from now on and let those who still want to use those zones, to go right ahead. No need to "remove" it or "improve" it.

Pretty clear they aren't going to dedicate anymore resources to it. So a pretty pointless discussion.

In Star Trek Timelines, they are going to introduce the PvP Arena with - so it seems from the devs streaming screenshots - a sort of match-making system .
However, it won't be totally free ( maybe one or a few daily free tokens ) and it's a smartphone game so it's a different beast from STO ... for now.
Dunno why : maybe Star Trek timelines people like pvp ?

Perhaps it should be modified to fit the times. Seems to me that it's always Feds vs Klinks which is a matchup that's no longer relevant. Allow the PvP zones to be a free for all area. Any player is a target for any other regardless of faction.

I posted the letter to this reddit, but people are more worried about the links for this forum and the poll than PvP (yes I didn't read the rules but hopefully it's all good now). I think Reddit would be a worse option of getting this to Cryptic than these forums...

And it's unlikely you're going to get anything done for PvP. It's just not a priority with them.
