What is your #1 ship in the game?

Just to clarify my question. All stats aside, what is the #1 coolest, most desireable, most awe inspiring ship that exists in the game? I am not saying the best ship or the highest DPS or whatever I am saying the one ship that that you want in your garage more than any other.

A follow up question. Same as above but with the qualifier that the ship must still be available somehow in the game.

I am just asking because I like ships, like talking about ships etc and I like hearing the opinions of other players (I already know my own opinion after all).

Short answer? This one. I'm not going to win any awards in the DPS leagues, but the temporal destroyers are fast, pack quite a punch and have a good weapons/officers/consoles layout. The console set is fun to use and the ship itself is quite a looker (if that matters to you).

Mat'ha would be my first choice. The Qib would be my second.

Why limit myself to a single ship? I use various ships each with their distinctiveness and play style.
I cannot understand those who throw the same build on various ships and continue to use the same play style. To me that would be incredibly boring.

Sometimes i play cruiser support, sometimes hit and run, sometimes magician etc. Why limit myself to placing just a single ship on top.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

having a favorite does not in any way limit you.

    Per faction is this:
Fed tier 6 defiant. Got her set up and damn she hits hard, thanks for the quantum phasers and torp set, really amps up the phaser damage.
KDF: Tier 6 Mah'ta. She's just a gatling gun with disruptors.
Rom: tier 6 Aelahl light battle cruiser. She just looks sexy and is a damn good ship, though my only complaint she's a 4/4 instead of a 5/3

My favorite would have to be the Risian Corvette, fast, nimble, packs a mean punch, and I love the way it looks. To me it is just two huge nacelles with the hulls as connectors and that's the gist of it. Sadly, it is an "exclusive" so no one can get it anymore if they don't already have it. I do hope Cryptic reverses that decision someday.

My 'Federation' ship, T6 Sci Oddy (Yorktown). I just love the design, she's got the bones of a heavy cruiser but enough sci slots and sensor analysis to keep me happy. And in addition to my sci tricks, I cas TS3 and TS2, plus the console and trait are great for sci torp boats.

My "civilian " ship, T5U Voth Palisade with 3pc Voth set. Ability to GW3 AND TS3. Battle cloak. Oh and the ward console the basically makes her indestructible. .

I'd like to have the Wells, but have to settle for Paradox.

If I absolutely have to pick a #1: Tactical Escort (typically a Defiant/Sao Paulo kitbash)

Yorktown (Science Star Cruiser), hands down - it's a cruiser (which works very well on my main, an engineer), and can put out a very hefty amount of DPS whilst simultaneously fulfilling the role of a tank.

Although I agree with @questerius, I try not to limit myself to any single ship - I have my fair share of escorts, most of which can pull their own weight (Valiant with Quantum Phase sets from Sunrise and Stormbound, and Hestia with a 2/2 Kobali/Solanae set).

the Vaadwaur Manasa Assault Escort. She's a fine little ship, fast, strong, and has great lines. She doesn't just fly, she dances!

Hmmm.. very tough question, but at the moment I'd say..

Prometheus/Hestia.. very innovative, versatile, fast and just a lot of fun to fly - also I like to see the Hestia as the pinnacle of tactical starship design in 2409 - like the Prometheus was in 2374 and I also built her to be the fastest ship of my fleet (well, at least at Impulse & (Trans)Warp - [the fastest ship @ Slipstream is still my Vesta which is also my 2nd fav ship in general]).

And in terms of "the one ship that you want in your garage more than any other" (and don't own yet): None (at the moment).

My first Star Trek series was The Next Generation and that era in general, so that colors my ship favorites. If I had to pick one per faction:

    Fed: Sovereign
    KDF: Vor'cha
    Rom: Valdore

Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

Breen Sarr Theln Carrier - ugly ship, but packs a punch (with fregate hangars and full Breen console set) - first of my ships that survived Nahkul portal station explosion (and my Andromeda T6 cruiser did not survive it).

Fleet K't'inga - or more accurately its D7 skin. The Klingons of my childhood, and incredibly satisfying to have a TOS ship hold its own at endgame. In essence, it's the only reason my Delta Recruit (TOS Klingon) is still going...

      Hmmm.....tricky question.

I can't really pick a favourite outright but I'd have to say looks-wise the Pathfinder is probably my favourite. I really love that secondary deflector "trench" up the middle of the saucer section. It looks like a ship loaded out to do all sorts of science magic.

For performance, it's gotta be either my Scryer (with Eclipse nacelles), or my current favourite which is the Daemosh; it just looks so dammed sleek and spits out all manner of death.

Gonna have to go by factions here:

Starfleet: Excelsior. It would otherwise be the Miranda, but you know...

      KDF: B'rel. ITS FUN!

Romulan: Kara Advanced Warbird. Fits my plasma build spot on. Now I just need the Haakona model on it.
