9 days of bricks

9 days, my wife apparently has some master controller/patcher issue, whatever that means.

Her game refuses to patch, thats where her login attempts end, can we get this fixed please?, this is long past annoying.

Season 11.5, the end of her STO gaming.

Force verify does nothing, the patch bar will not progress whatsoever no matter what options are selected.

Proxy's, force, nothing works for her, i fully expect they will suggest the uninstall/reinstall canned answer route.

Anf before it is also mentioned, we are on the same ISP, same inhouse wifi connection, and she can do "anything" else on her PC she wants "but" patch STO.

If she does reinstall at 12gigs+ and it doesn't work, well guess what.

After a PC restart for a security update she finally gets a force verify through, however when she gets to the character select screen and selects a character the game crashes and the patch bar does the same thing it did before.

Guess the wife and her Z-store money aren't wanted in the game anymore.

So, do you have another computer in the house with a working STO?
You can try coping the working client from one computer to the other, see if that helps.

Yea, mine works like a charm on the same internet connection, sails right into the game. She'l have to copy the client, i dont know how.

Well were now up to 13 days of brick wall, she has managed to get into the game twice, after which it is fps stutter on steroids.

Switching characters is a 100% ctd scenario, after which the patch bar again refuses to move.

Again there is no client side to this, she has checked all updates and everything else, my suspicion is that this is another windows 10, AMD driver, or DX scenario and it is all in Cryptics court.

Nothing is wrong with her PC, nothing ever was.
