    If you ever start looking into this, please try to find a solution that does not require speciality torpedoes. The way I see it, torpedo builds need to rely on reputation or set torpedoes with special procs, like Neutronic Torpedo, Quantum Phase Torpedo or Particle Emission Torpedo. It would be nice if "regular" torpedoes would also get some improvements, like maybe a new modifier or trait/skill that provides help for all of them.

    Though, that may be way too much. I mean, there was a reason for having 75% resists to shields on kinetic damage, in the first place, right? Not to say I know what that was.

    Early game mechanics were pretty crudely designed and they have NOT aged well at all. Thankfully the dev's have/are revamping most of them.

    There also weren't conditions where a HY1 or TS1 could out-damage a HY3 or TS3 back then, either.... but, that was then, and this is now.

    I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
