Are Europeans people too?

Do we count in Europe?
I see maint always be at afternoon to evening every week on European time and
never even once at efternoone or evening american time. Is our money less worth?
How come you can't run main at 2-3 in the morning american time? you actually have to run
the maint at the exact time people get home and then 2-3 hours after that.

some games do alternate the time they do main between evening and morning american times on
alternating weeks. why not here?

Just wondering, is our money less worth?

Yes. And because I'm assuming that it was you who originally posed that other interesting question: If you die in Canada, you die in real life.

Edit: to clarify: 'Yes' is an answer to the Title. Not to the other questions in the OP.

Because at 2AM the employees are at home sleeping. I'm Italian and i have this problem too but time zones works this way. They start first in the morning so if things go really bad they have the rest of the day to fix the whole thing, otherwise it would be overtime (more cost) and overwork (more stress on the team). You plan a schedule to have margin to do things. That's unfortunate for us but i understand it.

It's pretty simple. You do maintenance at the time that is best for the *MAJORITY* of your customers.

I think it's simply that our money is less than that of the players that would be affected at other possible maintenance times.

Cryptic simply picked the time where they have the least players affected.

So until we get more Europeans to play STO, things are as they are.

Time and time again it is explained that the reason they do the maintenance at the time they do is because it's the quietest hours for the game which serves a 24 hour community all over the world. By the way, I live in the UK, I can deal with it, so should you!

There's a nice little thread stickied in this very subforum called "Frequently Created Threads", but clearly people don't seem to bother reading it.

The chosen times for maintenance can be a pain from time to time.
I understand that maintenance in the US is performed starting early with room to deal with an extension when needed.

It would be nice however if maintenance was performed on a more rotating schedule so that it doesn't always coincide with the European prime time between 16.00 and 19.00.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Apparently, it's NOT in French.

Not sure what the problem is. Whenever downtime is scheduled I just move my clock forward a few hours, and hey presto! I can login!

No. Well, not according to republicans, anyway. I think you're allright.
