Cryptic said, "From January 26th to February 1st we’re hosting new giveaways each day! "

It is now 31 January, 1020 PST, and there is no new giveaway for today. The ships are still in effect from Saturday through Monday.

I appreciate the free offerings. That said, it would be better if you would pick one idea and stick with it. If you are doing daily giveaways--then please do daily giveaways. If you do not want to do daily giveaways & instead make them for 48 hours, etc--then please be clear about it.

    Givaways this year were a cop out, all consumable stuff except for some lowbie ships? Remember the year we got shuttles, tier 2 ships, and tier 5 ships for each faction? Yeah, not impressed cryptic.

    It seems like today is the same as yesterday, if you look at the dates on the give away page"From the 30th to the 1st"

    Yes, and still it contradicts itself in that very page and says "Every day we’ll be giving away new C-Store items" plus "Every 24 hours, we’ll be giving out a different item (or even multiple)" , it also says on this page:

    Then you seem to ignore the promotions tab because spec points was like the first thing they gave out.

    First comment there from daveyny lists every giveaway item, and spec points have been a part of the last 3 giveaway events. Only consumable item in this giveaway was a 20k fleet dil voucher.

    Oh and by the way, if actually pointing out the truth about things when people make trolling bs posts is being a white knight, then go saddle up my gorram horse.

    ...where the same subject is being covered. Sure the phrasing is contradictory (here; the Facebook post was not), but it's really only worthy of [Yellow Alert] and a correction to the News article. [Red Alert] and another thread seems a tad excessive...

    You could claim the items only within the first 24 hr of the announcement then it was gone. Exception being t4 ships

    No, I'm pretty sure I checked that tab. :) It's not like I really need spec points (what I need is the promised Dilithium, for when you maxed everything out); but would have been handy for next Spec tree. Oh well.

    Well the Bandits of Japori or whatever Geko might have called them made sure there would be 'No dilitium for you!! Next!!

    They were there in the Promotions Tab for the day they were active. The News Blog on the Cryptic Site was updated each day to indicate what the free stuff was for that day.

    I created this thread specifically to address TODAY, not to discuss the giveaways as a whole. Moreover, I do not like having this thread hijacked by people who should be posting in the other thread about their dislike for what is/isn't offered.

    This isn't excessive. This is a singular thread with a singular intent; to get Cryptic to adhere to what it says it is doing. The discontinuity between word/deed and word here/word there--is troubling at best. I personally do not care what Cryptic decides to do, but I would prefer them to adhere to that which they say they are doing. That's integrity.

Every day we’ll be giving away new C-Store items for Captains to enjoy. Every 24 hours, we’ll be giving out a different item (or even multiple), so be sure to grab these up!

    To claim our T4 Ships ( Ar’kala Tactical Warbird / Puyjaq Class / Sao Paulo Tactical Escort Refit ):

    1. Log into the game on a character between 10AM PST on Saturday January 30 and 10AM PST on Monday February 1.
    2. Visit the in-game C-Store via the button on the minimap
    3. Navigate to the ‘Ships’ tab on the left
    4. Scroll down to and click on the ‘Ar’kala Tactical Warbird / Puyjaq Class / Sao Paulo Tactical Escort Refit” item
    5. Click the “Claim” button towards the bottom-right of the interface

    and what part would that be?
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
    Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

    the first 3 days the items were in the promotion tabs, the uniform from day 4 were in the appearance tab and if you still want the ships open the c-store click the ship tab and select tier 4 at the top to find them easier.

    you will need a character from each of the 3 factions to claim all 3 ships.

    that's just down right nasty, theres absolutely no call to be like that on this forum whatsoever.
