Start up STO through and it goes through normal start up - and as soon as I click on ENGAGE it comes up with a message saying "Oops, Cryptic Client crashed" and I have no idea why.
I was nearing the end of a Foundry mission when my internet hiccupped and I lost my connection. After about 5 - 10 minutes my connection was back up and I was no longer able to log into the game. I am no incapable of doing anything with the launcher - clicking on Options to run a Forced Verify does nothing. Running the .exe's for patching/updating/repairing have done nothing so far. I haven't changed anyhting on my computer until after attempting to troubleshoot potential problems (specifically revolving around internet options, since the first handful of attempts to connect were blocked by a pop up so I of course went ot make sure my pop up blocker was turned on).
Double checked video and audio card drivers; they are all up to date. I have browsed the 'net and still haven't found anything to fix this. I have even uninstalled ARC and STO and re-downloaded and installed and that hasn't fixed anything.
Am at a total loss as to how to fix this.

Go Figure.
As to whether or not anyone will get around to fixing this, who knows, as I still couldn't use headphones or Anti-aliasing due to bugs from last years winter event.
And if bugs last this long and the only replies I get are other players, wth is up with the customer service and tech support from the devs??
Secondly, aside from that, it's almost always been terrible.
