Gameclient.exe crashes during loading

Patching completes fine. the client starts up, gets to the "splash screen" with the star trek online new dawn graphic, botth of the screen says loading materials, and then gameclient.exe crashes. can not get into game at all.

    This is happening to me too. I had to put it at the safe mode in the launcher, but it lets me in at bare minimum settings. Any adjustments though, and it instantly crashes to desktop.

    Seems to be an issue with the new AMD Crimson drivers and DX11. I was able to successfully get into the game by switching to DX9 mode.
