Okay, I can't change my picture either. I've tired updating on arc and that shows my pic just fine. But it doesn't show up here. And if I go to my profile to fix it, I see my old profile picture and when I try to change it I get the message that that function has been disabled and that the site is still in maintenance mode. Help?

mine didn't appear until i went to the arc wrapper version of the forums at http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#, then refreshed here and it showed up fine after that

(and by 'here', i'm referring to http://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline, because i flat-out REFUSE to use the TRIBBLE wrapper site until they make it so i can actually SEE which page i'm on instead of every one being titled Star Trek Online | Arc Games, which makes it impossible for me to navigate back and forth with the go back/forward page buttons properly)
Like special weapons from other Star Trek games? Wondering if they can be replicated in STO even a little bit? Check this out: https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1262277/a-mostly-comprehensive-guide-to-star-trek-videogame-special-weapons-and-their-sto-equivalents

Any chance this fix will fix my BBCode issues? I'd really like to make a sig.
    Hey, it's not just me!
I'd love to use color in my sig at last.
But there is color in your sig. ;)
Ahem... I'll rephrase: I'd love to use colored text in my sig other than it being part of an uploaded picture.

That's also why I keep asking for a T6 KDF Raider despite the Kor having been released. I don't wanna photoshop that picture just because I can't write colored text in my sig.
Pfft... it's just erasing text, how hard could it be? :p
Yeah, I could manage that in Paint. But I also need to add like a dozen newer chars...

Congrats, you're one of the lucky ones. Others, including me, are for some reason barred from many functions in signatures. And that's been going on since even before the STO forum was brought to vanilla and some people were merely testing it.

i should point out that there was no option for me to color text in the signature window, but that didn't stop me from doing it in a quote box and then copy-pasting the resulting text into my signature and saving it - have you tried that?

Sorry for going that far back in the thread, looks like I missed quite a while. To answer: I have never had any option to color text on these vanilla forums anywhere: posts, signatures, pms, ... My only option was to try code like you can find here http://www.stuffbydavid.com/textcolorizer and copying it, customizing and playing with it in any way I could think of. It does work for me in posts, like here. But it never worked in my signature.

On your signature settings page, underneath the box where you enter your signature details, does it say "You can use BBCode in your post"? I'm guessing it probably doesn't, but worth checking.

I'm not sure why most users have BBCode available in signatures, yet some don't. The good news is, there are a couple of workarounds you can use to get BBCode in your signature.

1 - Install TamperMonkey/GreaseMonkey (depends on which browser you use) and install the very handy script from @nrglg which adds a drop down menu on posts and signature windows to let you change the format at will.

2 - If you prefer to not use third party scripts for some reason or another, or you simply can't because of the browser you use or it's on a business PC etc then you can edit the input manually.
To do this, right click on the signature input window and click on 'inspect'.
You should now see something like this
    EL3HTlU.jpg
Ignore the line which is highlighted and instead focus on this line
    wKAlEcy.jpg
Notice where on mine it says 'value="BBCode"', well I'm guessing yours says something different in there. If you change it to BBCode and then edit your signature and click save, it'll save with the correct formatting applied.

Note, if you use the second method, it will revert to whatever it is set to by default if you reload the page or click save. However, once the signature is set it'll work just fine and you'd only need to change the setting again if you wanted to edit your signature.

Indeed, though I'm wondering if the FED chars' blue isn't too light and if me sizing up the text slightly wasn't a mistake. I wouldn't really want to be the reason someone chooses to block signatures.

Ok, I've finally decided to fix my avatar, but i seem a little stuck. I went to:
    https://www.arcgames.com/en/my/account
... but see no option to change my profile pic. I'm on my phone, so that might be the difference, but... ?!?

Somehow missed your reply, I don't think you sig is too intrusive though. :)

Might be a mobile issue. On the desktop version of the site, when you hover over the avatar it has an option to change the image.

in addition to what khamseenair mentioned, you can also try going here http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/# , as that's what i had to do before mine would show up (since i don't use the arcgames wrapper version of the forums, i use forum.arcgames.com instead)

Thing is, I can't add an avatar at all, it isn't just a matter of getting ARC to sync with the forums, so I might just have to wait til I'm sitting at a real computer and thinking about this. I think @khamseenair is right.
