In any software development case, experience has shown that there will be a percentage of bugs that will not not show up until it goes on air. The important part is to hope that they are not show stoppers. Since we have never tested the missile defense software full scale with the missiles actually intercepting ICBMs over the North Pole, we have no way of knowing if the "Strategic Defense Initiative" will even work once all the hardware is in place.
The above was from a lecture I attended in the 90s on developing software for the SDI. We all decided if we built it, it was better not to test it.
It isn't as troublesome as SDI, but give them time to work it out. If I'm fighting a baddie, I would rather my weapons worked as advertised.
That works if you're trying something new, but this is a repeat performance.
me coudn't get in either.
cryptic need ans DDoS attack proof server... because i think all of us trying to log in right after the lights went green is similar to a DDoS attack on the holodeck ^^

What is the ground-velocity of an unladen battllama?
Not Oklahoma, Whitefall. She owns most of it.

Think they need more hamsters to run the server.
A test server is supposed to be used to properly test patches before patching anything....
