I'm still waiting for either the OP or Trendy to change the title's pronoun. Perhaps along the lines of "You Gotta Love PWLaughingTrendy. It's now in the ToS."
Awww...it could be a lot worse than kittens. I'll leave it at that.

You know from a professional standpoint I have to question trendy about her responses to closing she is quite clearly flaming and trolling on a few of.them a recent one pops to mind. They are funny don't get me wrong but professionally I don't think it's appropriate.
Meh, Even professional people get to have some fun sometimes, especially in light of some shenanigans that goes on around these parts. Lighten up.
Trendy has always struck me as a good natured soul who loves her coffee, a bit o bacon, playing games and poking some innocent fun @ people take themselves too seriously.
There is nothing wrong with that at all. We're all here to have fun and sometimes people, myself included BTW, need to be reminded of that.
Trendy does this wonderfully, that's her charm and why we adore her.
Very nice! I am also giving you thanks for vindicating my comments in this thread. You are indeed the best .

Don't get my previous post wrong I'm not saying I don't like Trendy, in fact quite the opposite, and I find many of her closing posts funny. But I'm just curious if from a professional standpoint if some are not crossing the line cause I can easily see where some could actually anger the people they are aimed towards.

That'd be a problem in other businesses, but you've got to remember the clients here - we're gamers, playing an MMORPG. We're more likely to be enraged over stock answers and corporate-speak.
Trendy's a great rep for the company because she likes to make funny posts and joke around. She gives great information but has absolutely no problems showing her fun side at the same time, so she gets a lot of well-deserved respect from the community - same with Taco of course, and the other members of the team that make an effort to be public and have fun with us.
Besides, can you really see the big bosses telling Trendy to tone it down at all?
BOSS: "Trendy, we need you to quote rules and be professional more often."
TRENDY: "Nevah!!!" *flees while laying down NERF supressing fire*

I understood what you mean, and agree. A while back, I received a temp ban for expressing an opinion about the departure of Smirk. When I was finally able to log in again, I had an inbox message (sent at the time of the ban) notifying me of said ban. The redundancy of the message (because when someone cannot access the system to even read the message, the message goes unread) irritated me more than the temp ban. Don't get me wrong, Trendy's clearly got a good sense of humor (never really had enough interaction with her to form a personal opinion) but her style of moderation, is certainly not the same as when I was a moderator of a forum, and I can understand how she could very easily rub someone the wrong way without necessarily meaning to...
In a way, Trendy's always reminded me of a Klingon first officer - she serves the company, but stands for the players. I like it, it means that if we, the players, have a problem and she sees the post, she'll look into it even if it's just "I don't know, I'll go bug the design team/troubleshooting team/art team/whomever and see if I can get them to give me an answer."
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it's not for the timid." -- Q, TNG: "Q-Who?"
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

My goal is to do more good than harm. Also since I'm not a knowledgeable person (I have the dumb) I constantly refer to my communication style being "poking". I prefer the term because it infers a concise, quick, and slightly strong attention-grabber to raise a point.
I literally walk around the office some days going desk to desk with requests starting off as "Heyyyyyyyyyyy budddddddddddddy........"
Nah..."dumb" is not knowing (or caring) what you don't know. Having the presence of mind to know when to ask a question and not to be too prideful to do so instead of assuming (we know what that spells) is the smart move.

Hope it doesn't include a coffee mug like that one guy in Office Space.

Flying in the wings of time,
traveling between past and present.
Brandishing the sword of power,
moving space and universe
at her sovereign will.
She teaches the stars how to shine,
she tells the comets where to fly,
she wakes up dormant suns
and gives life back to wormholes.
Her power is eternal,
her minds is mystic,
her dreams are magical
and her word transcend time itself.
