    Same, but not every time, it's random. it happens to me after the last patch.
  • krendigkrendig Member Posts: 43 Arc User
    Every.

    Single.

    Time.

    Which means every time I log in, I get "There was an error. Would you like to check your files?"-- which I did once. ;)

    Intel Core i5-3570k, NVidia GTX 760 (latest drivers), 64-bit Windows 8.1.

    More information if anyone's interested.

    Every time I quit the game of late, Gameclient.exe indicates a crash.

    Ever since the last patch I am also getting the crash handler on exit as well. i5 Extreme edition with a NVidia 650 TI on Win 10 64 bit. Something probably is messed up with the code that clears the game from memory as part of the shut down so the handler cost up and then locks the game for a data dump. I have allowed a dump to be sent but I am not going to was time having one sent on every log out nor to have the data check on every start to find nothing wrong or missing.

    Followup. If I log out first, then exit, no crash.
  • shadowwraith77shadowwraith77 Member Posts: 6,395 Arc User
    For myself it seems to never crash during exit, but instead the sound/audio remains running for some time, before finally it to stops running!

    DC's for me hasn't been an issue [surprisingly], it's been all of the game client crashes occuring, something that keeps happening with each and every new release, and something that didn't occur in the past before Delta Rising for myself.

    It's only gotten worse since Delta Rising was released for me!!!

    I started crashing on exit every time I play with the update right before Season 11.

    I have a big sto crash file filled with this:

    151121 08:54:09 363 Client[0 P[Player Info]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()
    151126 23:56:02 305 Client[0 P[Player Info]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()
    151127 05:42:29 297 Client[0 P[Player Info]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()
    151127 23:04:49 317 Client[0 P[Player Info]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()
    151128 00:27:20 326 Client[0 P[Player Info]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()
    151128 09:13:56 497 Client[0 P[Player Info]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()
    151128 12:46:31 409 Client[0 [NOENT]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()

    Those are the last seven entries out of 897. I use Win 7 64 bit and have submitted several crash reports but gave up on filing one every time I exit the game and stopped verifying files after that did not work. Does not matter if I am logged in or out. I have no other issues playing the game such as SNRs or DCs. I changed my info to [Player Info]].
