Seriously that looks epic especially the Bat'leth.

"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

Yeah, just read up on it. Seems like some pretty neat stuff.
The Bat'leth also looks super-wicked. I imagine it flips open like a hilariously dangerous switchblade.
What I'm personally curious about is the new Tac Module: Micro-photon Torpedo Launcher. The way the thing is described, it sounds like the player character launches it in some fashion, and not by turret. I'm suspecting that this new module has an animation where you whip out an actual bazooka-like weapon.

Secondary Discharge Capacitors (2 piece) – Passive
    Improves Starship Flow Capacitors skill
My my only hope is that the deflector + set bonus add up to more than +40 flow caps. Otherwise, it's just one more set I'll ignore since it does nothing meaningful for science (yet again). Frankly, I'm extremely annoyed that the last 3 reputations have all ignored science and just gone for pure defense and offense boosts.

The Armor aesthetics are most impressive. Depends on the stats if i am about to use it, but 100% will get the ground set for the costume option. Worst case scenario, one of my boffs will have new ground set and i will enjoy absolute badass combat costume. Well done.

So much for containing power creep... :( But I have to admit, Cryptic dev's keep coming up with new ways to kill, and I can't complain about the aesthetics of the new gear!

The armor kinda reminds me of mass effect. It one of the better designs I've seen. I wish they would show the space set.

Only thing I didn't like is it seems like this new gear will weaken phasers even more! I thought a terran rep would help phaser builds but it's all disruptors and phaser resistance buffs.

See, now THAT was the armor (costume) we needed against the Iconians.

Gorgeous ground set visuals, far far better than that hideous Iconian ground set. Well done designers, and I don't say that much. I'm considering skipping the Iconian ground set because this looks so much better...
Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and the players love it! No, seriously! ...Why are you laughing so hard? :(

This set looks very sciency-oriented when looking at all the ship piece stats heck, one of the reputation passives reduces science bridge officer abilities when torpedoes are fired.

my Varanus support vessel salivates at this set.

Technically the cooldown is from activating torpedo abilities, But it's still nice.

Not too fond of the weapon visuals, but i see a 2 piece CC/ 2 piece terran combo on the horizon.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I think these sets are benefiting both Science and Tactical, since you do get Science bridge officer ability cooldown reduction when using a torpedo but you also get a Tactical bridge officer torpedo ability cooldown reduction when you use a science bridge officer power.

I don't have a problem with the rifle's form factor, but it really should be colored/textured similarly to the bat'leth in the interest of tying the set together visually...

    Actually it has BOTH!
    •Torpedo Astrometic Synergy (Passive)
◦Using a Torpedo Bridge Officer ability reduces Science Bridge Officer ability recharge times.

    •Regenerative Torpedo Synergy (Passive)
◦Using a Shield Healing Bridge Officer ability reduces Torpedo Bridge Officer recharge times.

This makes me wonder just what sort of carnage will now be possible for exotic/torp builds.

Never going to use the bat'leth anyway so that's no problem.

I am a big fan of the ico ground set visuals :disappointed:

But the terran one looks more practical.

    I love the bat'leth.

I despise the armor. Can't the female version have a bit more femininity to it? If I wanted to look like a football player, I would be playing Madden NFL 16.

The Iconian set is actually okay without the glowing lines showing all over. The head unit is actually rather nice.

I'm digging the new Terran rep ground set. Reminds me a little of Lord of Admirals Forthencho's troops from Halo 4.

I think it's a step forward that wearing combar armour doesn't force me into sexualized curves but is just combat armour. Although I think this armour looks like an Autobot, not like a Klingon. Might be the colouring.
