Through half saucers, I gain angularity.
Through angularity, I gain chevrons.
Through chevrons, I gain triangles.
Through triangles, my orderliness is broken.
The Federation Star Destroyers shall free me.
Gamma being the lesser of the 2 evils, the 1 thing I did like on delta was the Nebula mission pod looking thing on top, add that to Gamma would help allot.
I agree. Hopefully the ship we /really/ want will be there at the last hand. We just have to keep baiting the other voters on, so that WE get what WE want.

Going to be Gamma winning this round, making Alpha V Gamma. Then Epsilon winning over Theta and Omega over Sigma. Of them, Omega will win making the final match Alpha v Omega with Omega winning in the end. Honestly, don't know why they are doing this bracket when it's obvious what the end result will be.
Omega will win! Yes, of course. This has been my end game the whole time. I'm glad there are ppl out there who see it the same way I do. It's hard to find anyone who can laugh at themselves and not be so damn serious all the time. That's why I can't stand the damn STO-FOE-RUM Police. Get a grip? Get a Life! OMEGA FTW.
I voted for Gamma because I am tired of seeing Galaxy class ships and their clones constantly being repeated. We need a NEW carrier design. But most of all, there had better the same type of voting system for the KDF version and the Romulan version.
I agree dragnridr. I believe starfleet would be going away from the galixy, constuion, ect. Main reason being quantum slipstream drive. I believe that the warp bobble for slip stream is sleeker then regular warp. Hence the need for sleeker ships. I know people will say "but everyone can already use slipstream". But take it this way, nx01a and voyager, what two things do all three have in common in the shows, for that matter what do they have in common with the vesta.

When did we get a round saucer ship? Seriously? How can you be "tired" of something of which only one exists?

Exactly. The Galaxy has the round saucer and everything after that has been copying that. I love those odd shaped ships because they are different. The Akira, Promethius, Hell, even the Intel ships share NOTHING with the Galaxy styled saucers. Gimme new and fresh ships. Not just a rehash of the same ship designs.

There are somewhat around 50 fed ships in this game, not counting refits, mirror and fleet. Of those, seven have round or circular saucers (Miranda, Oberth, Constitution, Cheyenne, Ambassador, Galaxy, Nebula). And you are tired of "all the round saucers"? Even if you count the Guardian and that odd Intel ship AND the Akira to round saucers, that's maybe one fifth of the ships available.
EDIT: Miscounted and yes, it's a fifth, not less than a fifth. But still. All the other ships are variations of the same chevron/triangle.

One looks like a giant Frisbee® that was superglued to a dinner plate, and both of them appear to be trying to look like X-wing fighters with their quad nacelles....
This looks like a Lt. Broccoli (Barclay) project....hopefully, he's had his commission revoked and given a Section 8 discharge!

That is not true, there are at least 30 ships with rounded saucers. I've just checked all the in game Federation ships so I know that for sure.
Ok, there are more chevrons/triangles, but that's not only the case with STO. Other ST games also have less ships with rounded saucers. For example ST Armada has only 3 of them (Akira, Nebula and Galaxy). Besides that, in the later part of 24th century it is obvious that sleeker designs are being favored over the rounded ones (like Sovereign, Prometheus, Intrepid, Norway...).

I'm not sure that the donut HAS a saucer.... it is round though.
Epsilon, Sigma, and Omega, all look awesome for a Federation Carrier look. We have to be careful not to select a design that resembles too much like a Cruiser etc...
Think it will be neck to neck race between Omega, Sigma, and Epsilon - I still say they should grab the design of the U.S.S. Typhon from the PS Game Star Trek Invasion.

you cant grab whats not yours, was allready said before, that Design of the Typhon from Invasion belongs to Activision, only way for this to happen would be, if cryptic would ask them for permission, than they also have to ask CBS...bla bla bla, but before they do this, they could also grab one of the Designs that others, for example ME posted for Fed Carriers that look awesome. But Trendy allready made clear that they are not going to accept any other Design - UNFORTUNATELY -
