Center Scrolling bug

Recently, the center scrolling wheel of the mouse doesn't initially work when opening the game. To get it to work one has to minimise the STO window, and click outside to the desktop. Then returning to the game it works fine. Is this a bug of a recent update? It is rather annoying. Could you fix it Cryptic?

I have:
Windows 10
Logitech K350 keyboard and mouse combo
