Talos: *Over the comm..* Lt.. might want to come up here something was picked up on scanners..

    Ryan: I'm on my way.

*He puts the practice phaser away and head to the Bridge.*

    Alpha, what have we found?

*The Soong-Type Android at Ops turns to him.*

Alpha: Ensign Talos has detected a large spacecraft floating adrift in our sector.

Talos: Sir.. its one of ours but the signal its emitting is over a century old.. and its registry coding is something you will want to see.

*He brings up the registry coding and its matching selection in the database.*

*Ryan looks in surprise before focusing.*

    Ryan: Senior staff meeting. Now.

*He heads for the Observation Lounge, as do Alpha and Tala.*

Talos: Sir. What we know happened to the Enterprise B is that it went missing.. what its doing here is curious.

OoC: Wait I thought Chris was at the Enterprise B and the distress call was coming near Ryan's survey mission. Or are we all at the same place?

*OOC: West, the distress call is coming from the Ent-B.*

Ryan: What happened to the Enterprise-B when it disappeared?

Tala: I remember reading about an encounter with the Nexus?

Alpha: Correct Ensign, however the Enterprise-B survived the encounter and returned to Earth with only a single casualty; James Tiberius Kirk.

Talos: It was retrofit after that mission and was sent into service for seven years and went missing afterwards.. exploring this region of space.

Ryan: Do we know of any other ships that went missing in this sector?

Talos: None.. Not a single one in over a century..

Ryan: What can we tell from long range scans?

Talos: The scans are clean... aside from the Khitomer and another ship next to it. Aside from that I need to get closer to it to get a more detailed scan.

Ryan: Alright. Let's set a course and rendezvous.

    Talos: Yes Sir..

*When they arrive, the Cleveland pulls alongside the Khitomer and opens a channel.*

Chris: Lt. Ryan.. I thought they would have put you somewhere else..

Shelana: Well at least more people on this will help get a clearer picture in this investigation..

    Kara: Indeed..

9 of 10: What do you feel coming off of that ship Lt. Commander?

Kara: I am getting nothing.. which is odd and normal considering it has been out here for over a century.

Ryan: Captain, if you'd like the help, I can send an Away Team with you to investigate the ship.

Kara take an away team with 9 of 10 and meet up with the others investigate every section of that ship.

    Kara: Yes sir..

Chris: Shelana get Icheudja up here we are going to scan as much of that ship as we can.. If we need to see everything we can down to the smallest detail..

Shelana: Aye sir.. perhaps bring up Engineer Ross?

Chris: An extra set of eyes should help..

    Shelana: Aye sir..

*The Khitomer away team beams over to the Enterprise B transporter room. There are no lights on except their EVO suits.. and flashlights...*

Kara: We should find a way to get some way to restore power..

Valak: Indeed but I do think we should progress forward..

*The away team progress through the powerless vessel... the ship itself is not damaged it seems.. but also no atmosphere or breathable air.. just a sheet of soot like ice over everything.. no bodies so far..*

Valak: These Excelsior class vessels had a sizable crew..

Kara: I do find it strange that we have no bodies so far..

Crewman how far are we from the Jefferies tube..

Crewman: Not far mam.. *Going through the schematics of the ship from the archives..*

*The lack of noise also seems to add weight to this ship being a tomb... until one of the away team bumps into something.. *

Felise: *Screams and everyone turns around phasers out and flash lights pointing at a floating glove from an old EVO suit.. *

Kara: Lets keep our heads about us.. Alright..

    Felise: Yes mam..

Eight: Hmm icy. This is a little weird.

*Ryan beams over with Tala, Chief Engineer Elizabeth Dannover (Liberated Borg), CMO Sara Varenn (Trill) and two security officers, all in EVA suits.*

Ryan: The ship must have power if it broadcast a distress call, so the auxiliary batteries are still functioning. Dannover, think you can restore main power?

Dannover: I'll need to see the state of the Fusion Reactors. If we're lucky, they just need deuterium and a power transfer to jumpstart.

Eight: Something tells me it would be a bad idea to restore power...

*The Khitomer team reaches the tube entry to the upper deck and finds more debris.. as if the place was rocked by something.. *

Kara: *Her head is slightly pounding.. with pressure..* Something isn't right here..

*She chimes the other two teams.. *

Kara: My group is heading to the bridge.. so far all we are finding is this icy soot and debris.. no bodies..

Valak: Should not be far from the entry.. Its odd that we are not even picking up the auxillary power unit.. but what else could be emitting the distress signal.

*They pry the portal open and see more of the same.. when they exit the portal they catch a glimpse of their first corpse.. completely icy and crystalline in a crimson red uniform and dark pants.*

Valak: Khitomer team.. to ship.. and away teams.. found the first casualty.. a Lt..

Kara: Going ahead to the bridge..

*As they progress further and force the door to the bridge, they see the mess.. *

    Kara: Dear God...
