Direct3d Fatal Error fix?

sigh i'm still having a devil of a time with this direct3d fatal error thing since sto went directx 11 enabled. is there a fix for this safe mode goes into full screen regardless and i've tried altering the gamepref.pref file as well with no fix in sight does anyone have a direct9 gamepref.pref file or any kind fo a fix so that i can get into playing sto?

still doesn't work for me still get the d3d fatal error and can't go anything to get in game this happens on windows 10 so i don't know i give up more or less

Try force verifying the game and then load in safe mode.

The fix they put in doesn't seem to work (well for me anyway) and the above fixed for me.

Also with windows 10 run as administrator.
