Well... in Cage of Fire the only reason my Fed Engie survived the entire fight was because she was a Bunker Engie. Turtle'd down since BOffs got stuck on the way and wouldn't cross bridges.
Might be able to make a Natsu. There is the Romulan Plasma Flamethrower as well as Plasma Grenades. Grey would probably use the CRM-200 or one of the Nukara cryo guns. I could see Erza with a Nukara sword, and Lucy... um... what would Lucy use? A lot of Combat Pet summons and a rifle?

Well... thats Cage of Fire. I can do that with just a my captain and no abilities :P Any mission before the Borg are super easy now. I used to love being a bunker engie, but after the Borg everything has AOE attacks that destroy all your fabrications in one hit, or place something that forces you to leave your Forcefield dome
Also I know about the Plasma thrower and grenades, but those a green. Natsu needs red flames. For Grey I could give him the CRM-200, the Cryo-Grenade and I think there are some Kid mods from the Winter Event that could work, though I just realized that involves making a new char since boffs cant use kits oh well, fun thought.

I understand that Natsu would need red fire, but do what you can with what you got.
And I actually had fun as a Bunker Engie even against the Borg. What you do is you actually use the terrain to your advantage. First you can drop a turret, then step back, drop a cover shield, then behind that you drop your generators so they are protected by the cover shield. If you got a mortar, you don't leave it out in the open. Its got decent range so you can drop it farther back or around a corner so its out of direct combat. For example... Kitomer Ground near the first IMR. Just drop the mortar before you go around the corner, and it will happily shoot the Borg around the corner and not even be at risk of getting hit itself.
Basically Bunker/Fab Engies have to think more strategically and be aware of their environment and how to use it to their advantage.

So ya, sometimes bunker is useful I love it in Infected Manus, but most of the missions I play I notice that my fabrications get destroyed instantly

no CatStar isnt a pirate, as a MACO marine, he did acquire a cutlass as a backup before the Borg wars, he ended up using it during the series as a main weapon once he became a shock trooper against them.
