The other thing besides having so many battle cruisers now and the only one we really needed was the missing negh'var. Although their selling point on these ships is the mastery but being how grindy mastery and specializations are on top of dilithium and reputation grinds that just was overwhelming for me. It has gotten so bad and grindy that I haven't even logged on to even go to this risa event. The only reasons I have logged in 2015 really was to play the episodes that come out just to keep up with the story because other than that the game has taken a nose dive because of all these grindfests.
So if they want to get anywhere selling ships the first thing is to come down off the high horse on this xp grind and maybe just maybe people will start buying these ships again if they can't get over in reality how they actually already bought them and that its just going through a boring gear grind cycle that works for about a year but then kills their future in the industry.
The Morrigu has 4 front weapons or it's a mistake in the devblog? Just to understand...
Not a mistake. One less weapon slot, but more turn rate (+5), impulse mod (+0.05), inertia rating (+10), +3 piece set bonuses, Rom battle cloak (but less hull), Commander Tac, Singularity abilities (but no cruiser commands & low power levels).
I'm curious why the blog says "Can Load Cannons" for the Fed/KDF but "Can Load Dual Cannons" for the Rom. Just standardize it and say dual cannons for all, otherwise you risk someone thinking the Fed/KDF has no access to DC/DHC which clearly isn't true.
And instead of making all these ugly TRIBBLE ships, can you people finally f**king add the freaking Typhoon Battleship already for f**k sakes!
The sheer irony of complaining about ugly ships yet wanting the Typhoon is incredibly humorous to me.
I just wanted to write something similar.
Regarding the ships stats, i find it a bit odd that a Battlecruiser gets a "stealthy" intel theme. When i was suggesting a Intel hybrid BOFF layout for the Andromeda (instead of a rather useless command theme), everyone and their dog was barking it wouldn't fit to the ships theme... but now noone's surprised that a pure combat ship gets a stealthy theme?
I'd be annoyed if i didn't feel so indifferent about STO.

Other than possibly the Mogai i have no interest in the Fed or KDF ships. the starship trait is of no use to me and the atheistic's of the ships themselves are even less pleasing, I'll stick with the FT5U Akira, Sovereign,Nebula and Tier 6 Galaxy on my Feds and Fleet Vor'cha on my KDF. I'll save my cash for any of these aforementioned (minus Galaxy) ships getting tier 6 status.

Intel went to Pathfinder and the Ambassador/Galaxy hybrid the Guardian, so two major reasons why they could not double-up. One of the big 3 iconic ships was already given Intel, and there was already a Galaxy-equivalent in the Guardian. And naturally, with the Command Specialization that recently came out, Command would fit better, especially with how most everyone in the Galaxy threads where demanding it as Galaxies were used as Command vessels in a number of episodes (and for that matter, so was the Negh and D'D).
So Intel does better fit battlecruisers (and warbird) who aren't there to command or look pretty, but to debilitate and annihilate their enemies. And fits especially well with KDF and Romulans where cloaking is part of their standard equipment (Avenger can equip the Defiant's Cloaking Module, so it too could count).
I think the Tier 6 Avenger, looks more like the Solanae Feddie ship. I may get it..... eventually. But I would rather have Tier 6 Odyssey, Scimitar, and Bortesqu classes. They are after all the Flagship classes of their represented factions. I would also like to see a new original design for a Tier 6 Carrier in which can launch 3 waves of fighters.

Is the Lieutenant Commander Universal/Intel on the Morrigu real or just a mistake in the blog?
Cause I vaguely remember some talk about how universals won't/can't become hybrid stations.
It was a little misunderstood, afaik. The point had been that no seat could become a 'universal hybrid', aka that could use intel, command or pilot, as one would wish. But universal seats (that can slot eng, tac or sci) can also be a hybrid with one of the specializations. If I recall well, the JHSS also had a Lt. universal/Command.

I have to agree with some of the other posters here in regards to the Arbiter's design. It doesn't look like a Starfleet ship made in 2410 - or any time period, for that matter. As shown with the Arbiter, there seems to be a trend going on lately in making ships with fancy, and often over-sized, deflectors. Also, tone down on the nacelle designs; there are too many different cut-outs and shapes exposing the shiny blue and red areas. I think the Odyssey is a good example of keeping these two things simple but elegant.
I've just recently come across this design by Michael Wiley: https://sketchfab.com/models/8a91022fd8854034ae81a6c0e1ffadb3. This is exactly the kind of ship you'd expect to be made in STO's era. It looks like a believable Starfleet vessel developed in the decades after a design like the Sovereign's in the 2370s. Not to mention that it's a beautiful looking ship (just look at those curves).
With that said... Get Michael Wiley on your ship team!
Anyway, that's just my insignificant opinion.
Nice. While its not so hot Id start a new Fed toon JUST to command it, it comes very close. Id give it a 9/10. It has a very aquatic look without the beer belly the Odyssey has (and the reason I refuse to command one). THIS is the type of designs Cryptic should be doing after all this time. The new 2410 look, with all the extra busy lines and black sections is "doin too much". This Wiley design would sell circles around every Fed ship Ive seen since the Vesta (which ironically WASNT in house). Cryptic, you should buy this guy's design, you'd DEFINITELY make a profit off it.
And after all this time, where is the Madden Enterprise F design ship at? We get all this in house non sense and people have been telling you for years theyd buy the Maddenprize. T6 this ship, and I'll buy it Madden Enterprise F design

Can't really think of a ship in KDF that even looks good.
And it seems for FED if it doesn't has a big TRIBBLE saucer on it, it isn't a FED ship. Which this in turn makes everything look almost the same if not worse. Sometimes the same thing over and over again can become annoying instead of keeping things "in the style" of.
There is several, and I use them. The K'Tinga, Vor'cha, Negh'var, BoPs, Raptors, Kamarag, Mogh, Borta', all those are fine examples of good looking ships. The latest looks like Legos.
A Fed ship don't have to have a big saucer to look good. I use a few that don't. Like some of the escorts and Sci ships. But these latest just looks epic horrible.

for the fleet version, how many skins are available for the federation battle cruiser?
Murphy's laws:
1- Murphy’s Law tells us that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
2- And anything that does go wrong will get progressively worse.
3- And if you survive the first two laws it’s time to panic.
At least it looks far better then all this TRIBBLE being tossed out repeatedly, I prefer a Typhoon to finally be added then things that I will never use at all. But you probably like all the stupid looking KDF legoblock battlecruisers and such, the only irony is your blindness.

Can't think of a KDF ship that actually looks nice, since almost every single one looks the same. And the only ships that do look good in the FED side are the ones without a saucer on it.
A quick question. Purchasing the c-store version of any of the ships will unlock the fleet module discount on the fleet version of the ship, won't it? Guess it applies to all c-store ships, but wanted to make sure before spending any cash

I ask as I want to know if the arbiter skin is available when purchasing the fleet version period, without having purchased the c-store version.

the devs have stated several times that the typhoon will never be playable so don't count on it. and since when do the Klingons care about looks as long as the enemy goes boom they are happy.
the cloaking device console does not equip to the fed BC even tho the blog states that it does so I put in a bug report figure in a few weeks time this will get fix but just letting every one know about this now.

No it dosen't. The T6 Arbiter has the same base health as the T5u Avanger same goes for fleet T6 & fleet T5u.

This!
Currently cannot use the cloaking console on the Arbiter..
If you have a Tier 5-U Avenger, is it worth paying 2500 Zen for the Arbiter. Or 20,000 and 5 ship modules for the Tier 6 Fleet Avenger?
If you buy the Arbiter, is the Tier 6 Fleet Avenger discounted to one ship module?
