Never regretted going LTS after the release of Legacy of Romulus! So nice too that the devs haven't forgotten us. I love these ships, and I'll echo those who say the KDF one has a much coooler look than the old one--a great improvement! My KDF toon is running toward the shipyard!
I don't see any big improvement from the chimera to the manticore design tbh.
ROM and KDF ships look way better impo.

You must mean the Fleet T5-U versions, because Fleet Tier 5 Veteran ships have 10 consoles, same as these Tier 6 ones.

Do I get one for each faction? (I have Fed and Klingon)
Do I just have access but still have to purchase them?

When you buy a Life Time Subscription, you have immediate access to all the veteran rewards, unless you are not Lieutenant (or Lieutenant Commander cant remember which), in which you will receive all the rewards when you reach on of those ranks. the T5 Chimera and T6 Manticore are only accessible upon reaching level 40 and 50 respectively.

I still prefer my Multi-Vector and Dual-Vector ships. I like the pets without having to be carrier and/or brick. And you don't have to command them or waste active space DOff slots to buff pets

As A free-to-play player I am actually quite happy for the LTS's frankly they deserve it they payed so much money for their intial purchase and likely continue to do so since that purchase, a lot of their money comes into the game, not just normal subs so I think they deserve it as they've had the short end of the stick for quite some time in respect to the price they payed.

While it's nice to see ya'll give subscribers and lifetimers T6 upgrades, there's still problems with these ships that their previous versions likely still have...
Namely, that fancy transformation the ships do? Some of them are still bugged up if not completely broken. Specifically, the Fed's Chimera/Manticore doesn't even completely "unfold" out when it transforms into tactical mode, hiding it's under-saucer Phaser Lotus emitter strip.
Wouldn't be surprised to hear the other ships' warp/Sector Space transformations still don't properly unfold out either.
These have been known issues for a long time, was hoping with this T6 addition to these ships that they'd have their transformations fixed by now. =/

Well I know where my stipend is going this month, straight to a ship module for when the fleet version come out, until then my BoP captain shall put the kdf destroyer through its paces.
Love the new hull option, though I still prefer the old top and bottom domes for the kdf one.
Manticore, I like the addition of the AWACS style array, though like many others the overly fat secondary hull bugs the hell out of me, even reducing it by a third would help the ships lines.
I've come to realize that the Manticore echoes the T6 Shi'kahr/Centaur (Miranda variants) with a bit of Polaris/Sol (Recon Science Vessel) aesthetics when in Tactical mode (saucer gets larger while pylons go down, and looks oddly reminiscent of said ships).
I can deal with pretending this is a T6 super-Miranda.

I tried out the kdf and fed versions in the space battle zone and I have to say that I prefer the kdf one. I'm going to try the Rommie one at some point as well.
