Lately, every single time I exit Star Trek Online instead of closing out, the launcher pops back up and proceeds to "download" around 6G of a "patch".
I'm hesitant to believe it's doing anything, because whether I close it out while "patching" or wait until it's finished there is no change. When I launch the game again, there is no "patch" to download or whatnot.
It didn't use to do this, is there some setting I'm missing that's causing this or...?
*It shouldn't actually download the entire patch again, but more 'check up on' that it's there and discontinue after a while (depending on network).
*If it does redownload the entire patch, disable pre-patching in the launcher option (you will have to patch the entire S10 patch when it comes out).
Its season 10 pre patch, if let it download once that it is all you need, don't worry they like to make sure everyone is up to date before a major season.
If you have access to the tribble server update that as this will help come Tuesday.
