EDIT: Typo, $215 was what my bank was actually charge. in my frustration at the 4x charge I mistyped $415. Still completely unacceptable.
On 3/18/2015 I attempted to buy a $50 zen package to partake in the new ship sale. After purchasing through arc like i normally do, an error page popped up and said the transaction did not complete. However i looked at my bank statement and it clearly shows the $50 charge, with no type of credit back.
That day, and every day since, i am unable to reach any form of support page to get in contact, always showing page unavailable. Today when looking to see if the $50 dollars was refunded due to the incomplete transaction (expected, since i never received the zen) and I noticed I was charged not once, but FOUR TIMES, not only that, it seems either my renewal date was the 18th, and I hope it is because on that same day I was charged a subscription fee on that same day.
I expect someone will get back with me soon. When i attempt to be a patron of your game, I do not expect to be charged 4x the amount of the goods requested, and receive 0 goods in return. The fact that this forum is the only avenue I have for this is also unacceptable.
You need to contact your bank and dispute that immediately. No offense but making a forum post about this will do ZERO good. And the longer you wait the more trouble you're going to have disputing the fees. It's already been nearly a month. Call or contact your banks customer support and explain tell them you want to dispute those fees. Otherwise you're going to be stuck with them.

I would be cautious disputing fees paid to an online game. In most cases that's an instant ban.

Yeah, there are numerous reports of people who have gotten banned doing this, especially when it happens through Steam.
My suggestion would be to get on the phone with PWE/Cryptic, and keep calling until you get it resolved, rather than mess around with waiting for online support ticket tiers and CS reps who don't have the permission, resources, or capability to help you. If you can't get through to them that way, look them up on the BBB and get people involved who will actually see your problem resolved.

I really don't think it matters; if you order the bank to make a chargeback, your account will show as unbalanced on their end and will most likely get slapped with a ban. I wouldn't be surprised if they have some code that auto-bans anyone whose payment was reversed, even before a proper investigation is made. I merely mentioned Steam because this has actually happened with that provider.

This is why I use a prepaid CC to buy Zen. They can only take what I have on the card.
Actually I had a similar problem recently qwhen I was getting the command ship three pack.
What happens is the arc security thing screws up your purchase and says that error thing. It takes out the money but you will get it refunded in a few days. If you call customer support you can sort it out so that you can buy zen normally again.
Called both Perfect world and my bank. got them on a 3-way call narrowed down the actual mis-charge to 160$ from what we can see. PWE is volunteering no information they dont have to

ive enjoyed this game for a few years and im a few hundred dollars in (at least 500 since Romulus expansion), But if this is how they do business, than i will take my money elsewhere. There are plenty of up and comers in the video game scene who would love another gainfully employed middle aged gamer dumping expendable income into their product.
Even if they do not ban my account they wont get another dollar (my son still plays and enjoys star trek and royal quest, it was my intent to resolve this and put the money right back into ARC/PWE, but now i will remember the good times and move on.
