XMPP Not Authorized issue

So after a bit of a hiatus I decided to come back to STO. One of the things I loved about it was the ability to do offline chatting but for some reason now Pidgin is giving me a Not Authorized error message. I tried it on Xabber and it's just giving me a Connection Error. Here are the steps I've taken to troubleshoot.

• Verified Settings
• Verified Password
• Verified Access to Tribble
• Verified Character Copy tool works

I used to be able to use the offline chat both when I subscribed and when I stopped my subscription. I remember when I first used the offline chat I had to drop the last letter on my user ID off to connect. So far I've tried the dropped letter and full user ID and nothing has worked. If anyone else has come across this issue and successfully gotten past it I would greatly appreciate the help.

I am using Pidgin for my XMPP chats to the in game channels and it is all working fine.

F2Pers do not have access to XMPP - Are you a subscriber?

I did, have the 100 day veteran reward as well. As I said, it was working fine even after I stopped the subscription. Not a complete F2Per.

There might be some delay of de-authorization for when you stop being a subscriber.

It's probably working as intended, in the sense that it only works while you're a subscriber.

Ah, good point, after "un" subbing it was a bit before I stopped playing all together and haven't touched CO or STO since. Thanks, I'll try resubbing and see if that works this Friday, I'll update to let you know if that works.
