Kinda odd, a number of previous missions the delta objective did not flag as completed in the mission log when the item was clicked, but it didn't matter because they were optional to the mission. This is the only one that I have noticed where it is required to complete the mission.
Same TRIBBLE here, that Temporal Derbomaniac in Cold Storage does not Show up = Delta Event CANT be finished, DANG!
So Cryptic the moment you are back from your Easter Holiday thingy, please FIX this A.S.A.P since your Shiny New Event is a Crippled / Dead Event Right now
Therefore yea i agree with that Dude who said that this is a Show Stopper Bug, at least until its Fixed
Yea, damd shame.. I had it done and it like chase all over the map.. nope if he was there he went poof.\\Definatly a show stopper.. and frustrating too.
What is with the end of missions end of chains where this keep happening..
Put a starbucks or petes coffeee in the cryptic lobby!
Does it completely crash your system every time, corrupt files on your hard drive, block you completely from accessing and completing any/all other content in the game, or crash the game servers? No? - Then it's not a 'show stopper' but it IS a major bug; and one they'll prioritize and fix before the event ends.
It doesn't have to do any of those things to be a show stopper. If you release a new feature that cannot be completed/used properly/or doesn't work right...that's a show stopper...period.
I've been in the software development business for decades. If ANY piece of software I released had this sort of bug, it would be considered a show stopper...which is a major bug. I could only imagine the laugher I would hear if I told my clients "does it crash your system? No? Then this isn't a show stopper."

been in the programming field since 1975 (if you really want to measure professional epeen.) But please, it's not like the bug affects a major feature of STO to the point they will loose money in the long run, and if you've really worked in the software field, you know in the end that all management really cares about; and software is released (especially Microsoft for example) with what YOU would class a 'show stopper' all the time.
Also, given that it was stated that once you create a DR character, they will ALWAYS have the option to obtain the character and account rewards EVEN AFTER the end of the DR event (see the Rewards blog; the character only needs to be created during the event to gain access to all rewards); it's not the case that you'll loose anything in the long run.
Is it a major bug? Yes. Showstopper? No.

Dude.....can we Finish the Event RIGHT NOW?...NO....so is it a Show Stopper than?....YES.
The Show Right now IS the Delta Recruit Event, and that Event IS BROKEN A.T.M. So as long as it is not Fixed IT IS A SHOW STOPPER, accept it or not, yea we can always Claim our Rewards Later --AFTER its Fixed - THAN it will not be a Show Stopper anymore.

It doesn't crash the game, corrupt data, or stop character advancement, so I wouldn't call it a show stopper, either. Yes, you can't get credit for completing the Breen arc right now, but it's a 2 month event. If it gets patched on Thursday, or even next Thursday, it'll just be a minor delay in getting all of the Delta rewards.
I find the semantic argument over what is a "show stopper" kind of amusing. Its true the delta event doesn't make the game unplayable, but it does make the delta event uncompletable. It also doesn't keep players from accessing the majority of the delta content. I think an argument could be made that the bug is a show stopper for the delta event, but event that's ify given that most of the content is functional.
None of this really matters thou, its still really bad that this wasn't fixed pre-launched, and even worse that they didn't fix it in the first day of release. Very unprofessional especially given that this doesn't seem like a difficult thing to fix.
you can finish the cold storage mission if you don't open the delta console at all until after you finished the mission and claimed the rewards. just don't beam out when it asks you to, then click the icon in your mission log thingy to claim your reward, then access the delta console.
no idea if it'll work if you already opened the console on the previous playthrough, but there you have it. i was able to claim the rewards just fine when i did it this way, after hearing of the bug and having an idea not to hastily open the console.
so at least there's a workaround until cryptic fixes it.
the photonic boff is kinda broken. he has access to npc animations though he can't save them and some things like googles/glasses or shoulder pads don't want to stick, at least with the hierarchy head. he seems to be a better version of alien boff.
shrewd animation would work great on ferengi captains/boffs.
Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the crap out of me.
We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.

Very poor show indeed.
For this to get fixed?
Nothing is impossible to him who would try.... except getting cryptic to care about pvp.
I would think this is something they would fix as soon as possible, so with any luck tomorrows maintenance will also have a fix for this.
According to their Twitter there will be some Delta Recruit fixes with tomorrows maintenance.
