That's nice and all, but the Negh'Var really isn't the iconic Klingon ship -- the Vor'Cha is, and it could use more attention.
I thought the K-7/Kitinga was considered the Classic Klingon ship?

I believe (though don't quote me) that it's specifically been stated that T5U's wont ever get a token (or other means) to upgrade to T6. If you want T6, then you pay extra for T6, otherwise you stick with your T5U's.
That's, circumstantially, true. When that was said there wasn't T6 versions of existing ships available. Now there is.... my hope is they said it before because they didn't want a defiant to be upgraded to match a totally different ship, say, the command ships simply because they are nothing in the same. That no longer holds water though.

There's nothing wrong with T5 / T5-U anyways. They're still great ships, in some cases likely better than T6. T6 is all about whatever new specialization or shiny thing there is. Great ships, but there's a gimmick - and that's what makes them different, not necessarily better. T5 / T5-U is just pure ship, and is really still awesome. Nothing's devalued them at all.
awesome....now I can count the minutes until DDeridex owners start whining about how they should be getting a free upgrade to the T6 version
What? You meant to say Galaxy owners, right? Since they've already had to purchase that ship how many times?

I am willing to bet that when that was said Cryptic already had a complete list of T6 ships they would be coming out with
Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.
If you mean the upcoming Avengers movie, no, not really.
s'all good.
I was making a 'puppet' reference, but I can sense you're ire has sullied your sense of humor so...
moving on.

Yeah, I know. I was just answering another players question.
I've been using T5U's for a while now, these latest ships might be my first T6 purchases.

I doubt they're done with other T6 retrofits just yet. The Sovereign is bound to get one, as is the Mogai. Wouldn't surprise me if the Vor'cha gets one too; that's your cruisers sorted. As much as I also like the Excelsior and Ambassador, I can't see those ones being reworked.
I suspect next they'll focus on the escorts and raiders though; we already have a batch of Science Ships (Pathfinder & Dauntless specifically). It'll probably be the Defiant and B'rel (or generic Bird of Prey) before we see anymore cruisers.
Still. . . Even though we're paying extra just for some shinies, I think I will wait for the Andromeda Dread to appear before spending any $$$. I'd buy it.
You should make this a T6 warbird at some point...
OH YEAH!
I'd buy that!

at least 4 tac abilities. so lt tac and lt uni (former sci). and please one of the higher engineering guys may be a hybrid please. intel/command/pilot whatever. i dont want to be forced to stack shared-cd abilities.
id even say having one eng go for hybrid is more important than having 2 lt tac ...
Wait a minute....Iconic ships...Iconic....Iconians....It's a trap!!!!!!!

Nah, my "ire" hasn't sullied my sense of humor. It's just hard to get the joke if you have no idea what the reference is. Perhaps a Pinocchio joke might have worked best.

I think Ill wait for the Andromeda variant of that warbird.
If you mean the upcoming Avengers movie, no, not really.

i'm kdf, not fed lol
On this point I am in agreement, the K7/K'tinga is the Klingon's Iconic Ship.

Oh-- sorry, Rom and KDF aren't allowed to have sci ships.
Didn't you get the memo?
What? You meant to say Galaxy owners, right? Since they've already had to purchase that ship how many times?
Bugship anyone? Never got those scrap piles but still.....
It's pretty obvious this is how its going at this point, just another good reason not to bother with getting new ships any more.
Commander Science, Lieutenant Commander Engineering, Lieutenant Commander Universal, Lieutenant Tactical, Ensign Science
Can we get a shot of the top of the Andromeda? Pretty Please?
In fairness the bug ship was a lockbox purchase and the upgrade was free. So no money was wasted in making it a T5U.
If the delta recruit event is any indication... there may still be hope but, for the time being, you are correct.

Mmmm, T-6 T'Liss! I think I had a Romgasm!
As far as these new flagships are concerned - Bravo! Job very well done!

Oh sorry, I was agreeing with you. Sorry if that came out like I wasn't.
Us Romulans can be kinda direct sometimes...

I'm still waiting to burn EC on an Iconian Dreadnought, Iconian Battleship, and Iconian Cruiser.
